12 Swordmasters 210
5 Dragon Princes 150
This will be another interesting one.
Several small, elite units vs even less, tough, Fear-causing units.
However, I'm going to refrain from voting until I get a confirmation that the HE list is legal (how many Core units are there?).
It's legal - only need 1 core in 1000 points...
Difficult to call this. On one hand HE have some devestating troops there - on the other, the Nurgle horde has got some seriously resilient troops. lack of missile fire on the Nurgle side is offset by the HE general low toughness and regeneration on the Plague Bearers.
The single RBT will pprobably devote it's shooting against the beasts of Nurgle, and will have to be well protected from the Furies
In the end - I feel Fear tests against standard Elf leadership, and the two Heralds, will swing this to NURGLE
This one is hard. The Regen against the sheer number of attacks on the HE models would really bring this to the dice. In the end, the mage can't pull this on his own, and the Spearmen cant muster the hurt needed.
Whatever harm the Nurgle units put out will win the combats IMO, simply because I dont see the HE units hurting them at all.
Victory to the Daemons of Chaos, though I would really have liked to see this battle.
The Daemons will take this home fairly easily. The regen and high T of the PB's mean that they will be sticking around after the charge and then hacking through the elves when they get to attack. Noxious Vapors only makes this easier, as the herald will be striking first.
No, I don't have any wool.
Either way, I'm going against the flow, and will say that the Nurglate infestations will have no answer for those Swordmasters- there's too zoggin many ASF GW attacks at a high WS. Even a few bummed Fear checks won't be enough to claw a win for the DoC, only delaying the inevitable...

The Swordmasters cannot do enough damage to the Plaguebearers in a straight fight. The 13 attacks will gain just 1 unsaved wound. The attacks back should be able to finish more than that.
Daemons will win this.
New LOChat functions now avaliable.

The bolt thrower really needs to drop a beast of nurgle or two, but I still don't see HEs winning this. If they had had a fighting character to prop up a ranked unit or even another mage for this particular fight, I'd go with them. But as I see it, Demons.
