GET STUCK IN...
Use the skink screens for the kroxigor and the saurus cavalry. (Huanachi's blessed totem, means i can start the turn behind the skinks, march up to right infront of, or possibly in the flank arc of the enemy, and then have a 5/6 chance of getting the charge.) If against a non-shoooty army then theres a whole mass of annopyance in 57 skinks.
The two scout units will go for warmachines and other skirmishers, or large targets if they present themselves.
Oldblood will sprint all over the place, murdering chariots and the like.
The priest will always use the diadem to store dice for the enemy magic pahse giving me 7 dispel dice.
The battle standard can go in either of the kroxigor units or the cold one riders depending on opposition. But he'll probably be quite central, to get as many re-rolls as possible.
Hopefully my massive maneouverability and the potential to wreck havoc of 8 kroxigor, a stegadon and suarus cavalry will carry the day...
Pre game commants:VS.Right,
First off, I reckon that the high elves would deploy their two missile units on that hill to make sure I couldnt screen the important stuff.
So opposite that hill the terradons and a skink unit with the oldblood would deploy.
The cavalry would deploy on my far left, to be as far away as possible from the bolt thrower.
I'd be able to work out where he'd be deploying because i can drop all the skinks down first.
The salamanders would deploy wherever it was easiest to murder the sword masters from. though im not sure what talisman of loec does, they're still the main target.
Stegadon to deploy behind hill on my far left aswwell, to keep away from bolt thrower for first turn.
Kroxigors to from centre, with skinks mostly on flanks though, the two smaller javelin units as advanced charge baiting screens.
I think my 7 dispel dice will keep magic to a minimum against his 8 power dice.
All of the poison shots from the skinks will tear through that infantry.
The dragon princes are a problem, but kroxigors and my olbdlood should be able to deal with them.
Will try to aviod charging spearmen in the front, instead, just peppering them with shots, till they're weaker, and then moving in for the kill.
I really think i've got this one.
All of shooting should tear through the elves, an in combat i think i've also got the edge.

RBT on the far right of the hill, Reavers on the left side. Forming the center of my army from left to right: Spearmen, PG, Swordmasters and DP on the right flank.
Archers at the back to the right.
Shadow Warriors scout behind the temple/hill/thingy.
Eagle Noble behind the Spearmen.
Mage, high magic, 1, 4, drain magic
Direct the spells and archers at the skink screen and advance with the main line. Reavers and DP take the flanks and RBT fires at the terradons. Shadow Warriors disturb any nearby units and lurk around the board while the eagle noble shoot at the kroxigors and eventually combi charge with the DPs. If I get the pit of shades of it will be directed at either the kroxis or the saurus cavalry.
Hope I didn't forget anythin'.

Though the skink shooting is nasty, it has a pitiful range (8 and 12" respectively), and herman mentioned that he will target them first.
From there, the Sallies can be easily shut down by the DPs, and the HE infantry will have little trouble on the survivors.
High Elves by a Minor Victory, though a Major victory is definitely on the cards, so I may revise my vote later.
My first thoughts were the same - no real magical defence, and low I = purely evil smile on the Archmage's lips...The Pit of Shades will be capable of taking out pretty much any of the heavy-hitters in the Lizie army..
Dragon Prince armour being fre-proof, you have significant benefits there vs the Salamanders, and the repeater can be set to shooting Saurus warriors. I also don't like the "presumed foreknowledge of deployment" being implied in some threads - the sallies cannot be guaranteed to be placed wherever they will do max damage to the Sword masters.
Minor Victory for High Elves
This game has the potential to be problematic for the High Elves, mainly due to the skink screens, and their many poisoned shots.
The Eagle nobles maneuvreability and the attacks of the Dragon Princes give the High elf some nice advantages too, but all those poisoned shots are going to take their tole on the High Elf line.
They will win the game, but it won't be too easy

I think the High Elven superior shooting and especially magic, does it. The Lizards have been remiss in their magic defense, and will now suffer for it. As everyone's mentioned, Pit Of Shades will be an issue, but I'm also concerned about how they are going to stop the Dragon Princes. With their movement and shooting advantage the lizards are going to have to accept a charge, or just stay back and get punk'd by shooting, and when they do I don't think they can sustain it.
I say this goes down as a Major Victory for the High Elves.
Yep, HE Minor Vic. It will be magic that punishes the lizzies. The HE might lose a few bits and pieces, especailly if the saurus make combat but, on the whole, HE have the edge.
No more NG spearmen, thanks! Now I need some pump-wagons!
I see this going down simliar to how my WEs deal with HEs, lots of shooting. Those High Elves are going to fall in droves to poisoned skink shooting. By the time they're done shooting, stout combatants can handle ASF and dish out some serious pain.

The barrage of missiles from the lizardmen will really hurt the high elves.
The lizard combat units are toguh enough to deal with the elves when things get up close as well.
Book of hoeth, will definitely cause problems, but the lizardmen have plenty of ways of killing the archmage.
There also seem to be a few misconceptions about cakeman on this thread.
Kithre talking about "presumed forknowledge of deployment" to do with the salamanders.
I think cakeman would hold the salamanders in reserve, until the sword masters were down, and given he has more units, this is very likely.
Also i dont think 10 bows and a bolt thrower trumps 50+ skinks and some salamanders and a giant bow.
Im not having a go here, its just what I think.
Never trust an Elf! or the book it carries. The risk of a Miscast is pretty high imo (being a TK player, anything above 0 is too high ) The mage may be able to do some damage, if he can reach the casting value for the pit, but once that he blows himself to bits, it wont take long for the Lizzies to tear the rest of the elves to bits and come out with a Minor Victory.
