GET STUCK IN...
Use the skink screens for the kroxigor and the saurus cavalry. (Huanachi's blessed totem, means i can start the turn behind the skinks, march up to right infront of, or possibly in the flank arc of the enemy, and then have a 5/6 chance of getting the charge.) If against a non-shoooty army then theres a whole mass of annopyance in 57 skinks.
The two scout units will go for warmachines and other skirmishers, or large targets if they present themselves.
Oldblood will sprint all over the place, murdering chariots and the like.
The priest will always use the diadem to store dice for the enemy magic pahse giving me 7 dispel dice.
The battle standard can go in either of the kroxigor units or the cold one riders depending on opposition. But he'll probably be quite central, to get as many re-rolls as possible.
Hopefully my massive maneouverability and the potential to wreck havoc of 8 kroxigor, a stegadon and suarus cavalry will carry the day...
Right, forgive me tim.
I've finally got a table where i can deploy my scouts.
So one unit would go as far forwards as possible in the woods, and the other would be inside the courtyard closet to The TK deployment zone, or if someone could see them there then behind the rightmost wall.
Im imagining that phoenix would like to use that hill for his SSC and casket of souls. (this is not "presumed forknowledge of deployment" i just think its the best place for him to put them) He will probably screen with the tomb swarms an maybe keep one of the scorpions close because i doubt he'd tunnel them in this game.
So the Terradons will deploy on my far left, to get to these quickly. With the help of the scouting skink unit i reckon i should be able to get at least one of the casket and catapult tied up by turn two.
Salamanders will deploy behind the woods, charge straight in to them in first turn to hide from shooting, and then pop out either side on the second to unleash on the most pleasing target. If phoenix had deployed both his catapult and casket on the hill then they'd go for these, though casket first.
If the casket adn catapult are deployed differantly, then they'd move towards the TK centre and murder some skeletons.
Atlest one unit of skinks will deploy behind my line opposite the carrion, in case they get an extra move first turn to get behind me and stop me marching, so that they can be dealt with quickly.
The oldblood will deploy fairly central in a skink unit, from where he will hunt chariots with his strength 7 and help with leadership against the panic checks coming from that catapult in the first turn. LD7 on three dice has a good chance of passing.
The kroxigors will form my centre and hopefully make mush of the skeleton blocks, against whom they will hit on 3s an kill on 2s.
The cold one cavalry + the battle standard will use their banner to get the jump on the ushabti. A bit of mathhammer shows that they will destroy them on the charge.
Skink priest to get inside one of those buildings asap an hide...
Stegadon will charge up the middle, looking for targets of oppurtunity...

Ugh, really tough! That casket of souls is going to toast some LM. There's no cold-blooded against that.
LM shooting can eliminate units of skellies. Tomb King have the edge in magic.
I'm tempted to call this a draw, but I'm going with Tomb Kings for a minor victory. Winning against undead through shooting and then small units of combatants is really tough as they keep resurrecting, healing, and the like.
Hmmm. I do like the casket of souls for this kind of battle, The skink screens will shield them, and if the general is nearby for ld, then they should survive the advance pretty well.
With a potential of 7DD due to the diadem, the Lizzies will be able to block most of the magic, and with no large units to shoot with the ssc, the TK are going to struggle to do huge damage with that. The TK's one saving grace is the large amount of 5+ hitting shooting can whittle the skinks down at range.
Once close combat comes, the saurus cavalry and kroxigors will smash through the main skellie units, but the tomb scorpians and Ushabti will bash back.
TK will take this, but only by a minor victory
New LOChat functions now avaliable.

Cakeman has pretty much wrote my tactics for me lol. A few things though:
Salamanders dont have flaming attacks (they used to, not any more)
Even if they did, Priests arent flammable, thats only the Kings and Princes.
Good to see the Jaguar is hunting Chariots, keeps him away from the SSC and Casket
Aside from that... i dont want to bore you all again, you know how my army works
Just 1 thing to confirm it, the SSC + Casket will be on the right hand side of the hill, with my army deployed around them in its usual formation.
I like the TK for a minor victory

Minor victory Lizardmen
I think the fast pace of lizards means they can get in close quickly, where they have the edge...
particularly with the olblood taking out the chariots.
the ssc and casket make it very very close...
Again, gifting the Tomb Kings with a Minor Victory.
SSC vs several skink units, even Cold-blooded, is not a fun thought for the Lizzies, especially at two Panic tests per turn.
That aside, I don't really see much that can beat the TKs in a protracted combat except the Kroxis.
Casket and catapult make the choice for me, but it's still a close one.
TK Minor Victory
Phoenix's Tomb Kings wint his match 5 votes to 1.
