Calling of Champions: Arena of Death
The toughest of all champions, from each corner of the globe have been called together in one place to take part in a tournament to find the toughest warrior in all of the lands...
-I am after 16 characters. This will be first-come first-served.
-In an ideal world i'd like to have all characters come with sensible names. I dont want to have to write about Stabby McShank or Mr I.P. Freely. I mean its totally up to you what you call your character, its just it'd make my life easier.
-The arena will work in a knock-out format.
-The arena winner will move onto the Gauntlet of Champions where they will fight each of the previous arena champions(that i can find the rules for)in turn. If they are able to make it all the way through them then they shall come face to face with the secret arena Champion. If he dies in the process of reaching the end of the gauntlet, then that will be the end.
-NO RESERVING SPOTS! This is just to give everyone a chance to enter.
-Every character must be fully legal, and costing no more than 275pts. This is absolute. I will not be accepting any characters that are 276pts.
-Characters are to have a background and description. If not, they will be fair game for me. Include a fighting style if you want, but this point is all optional. I decide why your characters are there, although posting a personality may influence this decision.
-Please read through all these rules.
How To Enter
Simply post here with your character's name, background and fluff, and- of course- what the character actually has.
-Tress of Isolde
-Sword of Fate
-Van Horstmann's Speculum
-The Daemon Sword
-The Bane Head
-The Grudge Rune
-The Talisman of Saphery
-The Ring of Corin
-Virtue of Confidence
-Annoyance of Netlings
-Palanquin mount (for DoC)
-Any item that removes magical properties of another item such as Obsidian Armour
Also, any item which I have missed here that includes in its rules "nominate one enemy character" is illegal.
-Gaze of the Gods - same points cost, before the battle roll a D6 - 1 = you get a 6+ ward, 2-3 = you get a 5+ ward, 4-6 = you get a 4+ ward
-Warpstone amulet - same points cost, but roll to see if you die BEFORE the fight instead of afterwards.
-Talisman of Loec - may not be taken in conjunction with anything that confers Killing Blow to the bearer.
-Pendant of Khaeleth - Grants a ward save proportional to the armour save modifier of the opponent’s Strength score (i.e. 6+ ward against S4 hits, 5+ against S5, 4+ against S6, 3+ against S7…). A 1 always fails.
-The Morning Star of Fricasse - Cannot be taken with the Gromril Great Helm. OK, it can, but don't expect your character to get a nice writeup. The same applies to any Dwarfs who aspire to take the MRoBreaking. No obscene armour saves to go with it.
-Any items that that inflict D6 wounds will only inflict D3
-Tomb Kings: Tomb Kings and Princes get 25pts extra – they may not exceed their magic item limit.
-Vampires get 35pts extra – they may not exceed their magic item limit.
-Skaven Warlords may go up to 20pts over their magic item limit providing that they do not exceed 250pts in total. The Appendix Plague Lord is no longer permitted: the Plague Lord from the Lustria book replaces him.
-Empire Generals (not Grand Masters) and Arch Lectors who do not take a Runefang may go up to 20pts over the magic item limit providing that they do not exceed 250pts in total.
-Wood Elf characters (not dryads) get 20pts extra – they may not exceed their magic item limit.
-Dark Elf Assassins are counted as Hero choices for all intents and purposes.
-Chaos characters can take the marks of Tzeentch and Slaanesh for free.
-Bretonnians must pray to gain the Blessing, allowing their opponent to charge them and gain all the benefits thereof in the first round of each combat. A Bretonnian player who does not wish to pray should specify this before the match is rolled.
-Goblin, Night Goblin, and Skink characters may also receive a 20pt bonus to their magic item limit. Just to be nice to the little guys.
-Hero-level characters get an extra 50pts added to their magic item allowance (plus an additional 50 points for any special skills such as Vampire Powers or Gifts of Chaos)
- First round of combat
In the first round of combat, both warriors count as charging for the purposes of lances and other special rules. If neither warrior has a 'strike first' ability (or a 'strike last' ability), the person with the highest Initiative will strike first. If both warriors are equally entitled to strike first (usually because they have equal initiative), striking order will be determined by initiative, taking into account weapon rules like great weapons striking last
- Later rounds
In later rounds of combat, neither warrior gets charging bonuses. Strike order will be determined using the same system as in the first round of combat - however, in cases of equal initiative; the die to determine strike order is not rolled. Instead, the person who struck first last time will strike first, combat alternating between each warrior.
-Break tests are ignored in the Arena (where are they going to run in a ring of death?). Other psychology that may force an opponent to flee from combat is also ignored. THERE IS NO WAY TO FLEE IN AN AOD. For this reason, panic, unbreakable and stubborn also have no effect.
In addition, undead warriors ignore the rule that causes them to take wounds from combat resolution. In a similar manner, daemonic characters do not suffer from instability.
-Fear is handled similarly to normal. In the first round of combat, a warrior facing a fearsome foe will take a Ld test. If he fails, he will hit on 6+ for that round of combat. After that, fear has no effect.
-Hatred is also handled as normal. The warrior will re-roll failed 'to hit' rolls against hated foes in the first round, unless a specific army book overrules this.
-Since stupidity is ignored in combat, it only effects the first turn when the model suffering stupidity is attempting to charge. He or she will take a stupidity test as normal; if failed; the model strikes last, no matter what. I.e., no ASF for failed test.
- Frenzy While there's nowhere to run, you can still have the frenzy knocked out of you; therefore, models do lose frenzy as normal. Not that outnumber does not count for CRes here.
-Killing Blow will be worked out slightly differently. The D2+N rule will be used. This means the character will suffer D2+(Starting Wounds-2). This gives a 50 chance of killing outright. Armour and Regeneration is still ignored.
50-50 calls- I claim power in any dispute, and will be as fair and unbiased as possible. This is why I will not be taking part in this AoD (unless I really want to).
Challenges- You can challenge in this arena. To make a challenge, simply post something along the lines of 'I challenge...', making it very clear who you are and who you challenge. Frequently, people will add some fluff to their challenge, giving their reasons for fighting (and naturally, some goading insults). This is encouraged, but ensure that at the bottom of your post you say the word "I challenge...”
The character must then respond. An accepted challenge will result in the two of you being paired against each other in the next round of combat. A declined challenge will ensure that you will not be paired together (unless you must be, due to lack of other players). An unanswered challenge will be treated as if the challenge never happened (though sometimes an unanswered challenge will be treated as an acceptance). Aside from the pairings in the next round, an accepted / refused challenge has no additional effect.
Any magic items that force a challenge to be accepted ARE allowed. So it could be possible for someone to choose their opponant each round.
Time- My plan is to get 1 battle up a day
Dice Rolling- As i will be entering a character, i will be rolling the dice on Vassals 40k Module. The dice rolls will then be recorded via a screenshot and posted with each battle.
If you have any questions, just ask.
Anyway, hurry up and enter so we can get this started.

The arena sat atop a great mountain, surrounded by vast waves of volcanic activity. Lava freely flowed along the entire base of the mountain, not allowing easy access for anyone trying to get to the top. A horde of potential champions stood at the base of the mountain, staring up the massive concrete pillars that stretched from the arena floor up to the black, smoke filled sky. As they looked up a, bellowing voice echoed down from the mountain top.
"Each of you are here because you are considered to be champions in your own right! Those of you who survive it to the top will fight it out till only one of you remains standing! Once this one person has reached the end, they will fight me in singles combat! I only want to fight the best! Nothing else will do! If I fall, the winner shall receive my sword! There are only sixteen spots available! Anyone who arrives after that will meet an early death! Well then, that is it, GO NOW!"
On that instruction, the warriors charged forward towards the lava flow. The molten mass had solid ground scattered inside it, giving the warriors a small chance of suviving to the otherside. The first to make it to the edge of the raging hot river was a Slaaneshi daemon that went by the mortal name of Dark Harvester. It's true name hidden from mortal minds and forgotten many millenia ago, the daemon was renowned for its preference of torture to outright killing. Dark Harvester could keep a captive alive for a week while inflicting maximum amounts of pain. The daemon leapt from the bank aside the river, spotting what was a solid piece of ground in the center of the lava flow. Harvesters feet touched the tiny island for a split second before propelling it back into the air. With an acrobatic flip mid air, the daemon had already reached the other side of the bank. Close behind the daemon followed an assassin known as Grevnash.
Wearing a long black cloak, his face was hidden under the attached hood not revealing even the slightest facial feature. As he leapt from one of the different solid platforms, he see a metallic object fly passed his head. When he reached the other side of the lava he turned quickly to see a Skaven assassin. The rat had thrown a blade at the Dark Elf, trying to take out the competition before even reaching the top. "Now you die!" whispered Grevnash. The elf spun around quickly, reaching into his cloak, taking hold a large dagger. Before he came to a stop, he shot his arm forward, letting the throwing dagger loose. The blade shot through the air faster than the strongest of bows. The knife stuck deep into the Skaven assassins skull, forcing the rat to fall in a heap on the floor, blood streaming from beneath the blade. Directly behind the Skaven was Thurk.
He let out a loud laugh as the he watched the insignificant rat fall to an untimely death. As he reached the corpse Thurks foot ploughed deep into it with a sickening crunch, forcing blood to stream from every orifice. When he lifted his leg up the Black Orc noticed the remnants of the fallen Skaven still attached to his foot. He temporarily stopped and wiped his foot across the floor, removing all but a few hair covered fleshy remnants from the grooves of his boot. "STUPID RAT!" he yelled. The Orc stared at the glowing river infront of him, not sure that he could shift his bulk from one platform to the next. Thurk shuffled backwards a few steps before charging forward. He pushed his foot into the floor, propelling himself into the air. His arms and legs flailed as he moved through the air, making him look like a squirming Snotling held tightly in his fist. Thurk landed successfully on the platform, albeit on his face. Even though it was not the most beautiful of landings, he did make it which was more than enough for the greenskin. While getting to his feet Thurk noticed a thin outcrop from the bank, that if lucky enough, he could touch with one foot and push himself up onto. Again, Thurk took a few steps back before launching himself into the air. This time he kept flailing to a minimum remebering that Grot Bombers fly further when they keep still. He moved his left foot forward ready to push off the tiny outcrop. Almost magically, as if pushed by Gork and Mork, Thurk found himself fly past the small piece of rock and straight to safety. Before he could move forward a scream came from behind him. He turned to see a Warrior Priestess land onto the outcrop, however it crumbled beneath her, sending her tumbling into deadly pit. Thurk roared as a sign of respect to Gork and Mork before turning around and continuing up the mountainside. Watching on from the other side was Skreel Beardslayer, a Goblin known throughout the lands as having one of the highest Dwarf kill counts of any greenskin.
"Stupid you all are!" He sniggered, "use others to help!" The Goblin ran forward towards a lone Dwarf staring at the molten rock in front of it. "Let me help you," said Skreel in his squeaky tone. The Goblin pushed the Dwarf head first into the lava. There was a loud cry as the Dwarf fell to a terrible death. The Dwarf hit the thick mass with a thud, getting burned alive slowly, protected by his gromril armour. Wasting no time at all Skreel leapt onto the Dwarf, straight to the other side. He turned back around and laughed as he watched the Dwarf get cooked inside of its owns armour. "Stupid, stupid, stupid! You're all so stupid! Skreel will win!" As Skreel watched the Dwarf slowly submerge, he seen a Skaven by the name of Skritch use the poor stunty as a stepping stone. Skritch landed next to Skreel and pushed the Goblin aside. "Thanks Gobbo! I won't be killing you yet!" Skritch continued on up the hill, closely followed by Skreel, leaving the now well done Dwarf to vanish from the face of the planet.
Still at the start line stood Zatoichi, a grey haired, robed man using a walking stick to feel what was ahead of him. As he moved closer towards the edge of the lava, a Vampire crept up slowly behind him. When only several feet away, the creature of the night drew his shortsword. He moved in for the easy kill, swinging the blade towards the blind mans head. Then there was a clattering of metal. The vampire stared in amazement. Zatoichi had managed to remove a sword from his walking stick, and block the attack all in a split second. "I may be blind, but i can still see..." claimed the blind swordsman. The vampire raised his sword back over his head and slammed it down again, only to have it blocked again. "Unless you want death, leave me be..." The vampire ignored Zatoichi and began to unleash a torrent of attacks, each one blocked by the grey haired old man. "What?!" shouted the Vampire. The old warrior replied in his old, torn voice, "I have told you already, I may be blind, but i can still see..." The vampire suddenly stopped attacking. Zatoichi place his sword back into the walking stick and continued on towards the river. Behind him the vampie stood staring at his back, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth. A loud gargle could be heard coming from the back of the vampires throat, almost sounding like a deep growl coming from a sabretusk. Almost in slow motion, the vampires head began to lead forward, making it look as if he was looking around the floor for something. The head however kept moving forward before eventually it fell to the floor. Blood erupted from the neck of the vampire high up into the air, showering a group of nearby fighters in the crimson liquid. Vampires were known for their grisly deaths, but the blood continued to flow out for several hours, long after the rest of the warriors had moved on.
From the otherside of the river of molten death, Li Chen looked on at the warrior from Nippon. He began thinking to himself, 'Could that be the blind swordsman the Nipponese natives spoke of? He appears blind but yet is able to defend himself. Now that would make a fine opponant.' Before the Cathayan warrior could finish his thoughts he felt a sharp pain in his should. He removed his sword from his sheath quickly and slid it down his back. With one quick motion he brought the blade over his head till it came to a stop in front of him. Blood ran down the blade, dripping off the end into the lava in front of him. He cleaned the sword by wiping it against his leg guards, leaving another coat of blood to stain the piece of armour. The sword was quickly placed back in its sheath before Li Chen turned to make his way up the mountainside. When he began walking, he stepped over the remains of a Lizardmen, split in half, top to bottom. The ground was coated in a thick layer of blood, providing another a grotesque scene before the arena had even begun properly. As he continued on he reached behind his shoulder, removing a blade that the lizardman had stuck deep into his back. As it left the wound, the gaping hole in Li Chens body quickly sealed shut, his immortality clear to see for anyone who caught a glimpse of the regeneration.
One person who caught sight of Li Chens healing powers was Skalf Ironbeard. Considered tall by his fellow Dwarfs, and just another stunty by the rest of the world. However, this did not take away from just how hard he truely was. His entire frame was pure muscle, as if carved from the finest stone and finished with the glossiest of polish. This, a result of carrying the heavy Dwarven Gromril armour since his first steps. His current weapon and armour is crafted by himself and is thought to be made from the finest Gromril in the land. Made from the purest of ores, it makes his defense and attack very dangerous. As he watched Li Chen continue up the mountain, he knew that he had just seen one of the most dangerous entrants in the arena. After he finished thinking, Skalf continued on.
Another Dwarf nearby was Azana Delnore, a female who is tasked with the duty of finding missing Dwarfs. However, it came to pass that she heard at a bar in Brettonnia of this arena. Knowning that many Dwarfs could not resist a good challenge, she decided to head to the tournament, explaining why she came to be at the base of the mountain. Unlike some of the other Dwarfs ready to try and earn a place in the arena, Azana was clad head to toe in runic armour, looking almost like a small steam tank. If you did not hear her soft, tender voice, you would be troubled to tell if the walking juggernaut was a female. Many had fallen to her runic axe and she lived in the hope that even more would be claimed by its sharpened edge.
Elsewhere at the foot of the mountain was a Brettonian Lord mounted atop a warhorse. He was known as Sir Harry of Mandion. His skills atop a horse rivalled that of the most feared warriors in the land. Clad in a brightly coloured armoured, he rode into battle cleaving the heads from mortals and daemons alike. Amongst men he was hated for his beauty, no man able to come close to his perfectly shaped face. Each time he rode through a town women would fall to his feet, offering their bodies to him so that they may get to feel his touch. However, Harry had never been known to have been seen with a woman. Rumours circulated that Harry had taken a sacred vow of celibacy while others said that he had a wife locked away in his castle. However, only Harry and his barber knew the truth. As Harry began to ascend the mountain on his steed he let out a cry, "THIS IS FOR YOU WALTER!"
A high pitched giggle could be heard behind Harry. The culprit was Lord Skratch the Gobboslayer, a tiny goblin with a massive apetite for killing his own kind. Skratch shouted up at Harry, "Stupid 'umie likes a bit of rough 'n' tumble!" Luckily his whiney voice wouldn't carry up to the Brettonnian. Skratch earned the title gobboslayer from the sheer amount of Goblins he has killed in and out of arenas. He chooses to kill his fellow greenskins because the he prefers to think of kills in quantity rather than quality. When he argues with Orcs about how much "stuffs" he has killed, his number eclipses almost every other greenskins count. Either way, he felt good about this arena, knowing that it was very possible that he could cheat his way to the end. Once he began to dash he could hear some loud footsteps coming from behind him. He turned to see the Plague Bringer.
There was no mistaking which god this beastman worshipped. His fur was matted together by the puss that oozed from the sores that coated Plague Bringers body. His stomach was bloated with bits of his intestines on show for all to see, only held in by the armour that barely covered his torso. Even though afflicted by the plagues of Grandfather Nurgle, the beastman was deceptively quick. A large blade dragged across the floor behind him as he ran, although this did little to slow the beast down. "Come here little Goblin..." he teased. This only made Skratch move faster up the hill. "Haha! You can run now little one, but you will succumb to the disease eventually...everyone does..." Unlucky enough to be behind the rotting mess was Karan Zhuff.
Karan was a Bull Centaur Lord who had inflicted many hardships upon others in his lifetime, and the outrageous smell emanating from the Nurgle worshipping beastman was nothing in comparison. The burns covering Karan were clear for all to see, a clear sign of all that he had sacrificed in order to try and keep his slaves in check. However, he now only lived to make those that had been lost proud of him and his accomplishments. As such Karan entered the arena, wanting to prove that he, amongst every other warrior in the arena, was worthy to be called the Champion of Champions. Before he made his way up the hill he looked up at the blackened sky, bringing back many flashbacks of the time his home was wiped out by the massive army trying to free the slaves under his control. So much death was inflicted and from both armies, Karan was the only to survive. For all his past brethren he wanted to win the arena, at all costs. As he moved up the hill he noticed a thing of pure beauty. A Dark Elf clad in a red armour that exposed every perfect curve of her form. "You may want to stop looking at me like that or I may have to have my pet tear you open right now..." she stated, pointing towards the Cold One that stood behind her. The beast snarled at the Bull Centaur and watched him move away, its reptilian eyes not losing sight of the creature.
The Dark Elf was infact the Red Captain, her name was unknown to both herself and those around her. She was found as a child wandering, eventually taken in by a Dark Elf fleet that found her stranded on a beach. Until she was old enough to join the Navy herself, she was never given a name, waiting to find one that befitted her personality the best. As such, the Red Captain became her eventual name. Describing her lust for blood and urge to run the entire of the Dark Elf fleet. However she would need to defeat those that stand before her to walk away and accomplish her ambition.
After several long and death filled hours fourteen combatants stood atop the mountain, looking at the large doors that stood in front of them. They had to wait for two more warriors to get to the top before they could enter and begin the bloodshed. Skratch turned to look down the hill, spotting three warriors making their way to the doors. One was a Lizardman by the name of Popoca'Tepetl. Beside he ran a servant of the empire, a human clad in iron armour that wrapped his entire body. "I won't let you beat me scaly!" cried the human. Popoca stopped suddenly, taking hold of the man by the scruff of his neck. He pulled the weak human back with a hard tug, forcing the human to land on his blade. The Lizardmans blade made easy work of the mans armour and body, killing him with little trouble. Popoca quickly removed the blade and continued towards the group, leaving behind the mans corpse as it oozed blood. Just over from the lizardmen was a man riding a horse of pure water, the mans name was Kalrith Otenheln.
Kalriths true race was not known to many, most people thinking that he was a sickly man who had contracted a disease that changed the colour of his skin. However, he belonged to a race of humanoids who are able to sustain their life above and under water. Their mages were able to control the water as and when they pleased, making them dangerous to any ships that strayed into their part of the vast oceans. Atop his watery steed Kalrith rode past Popoca, not giving the lizardman a single glance. Each step from the horse caused steam to rise from the hot rocks under its feet. As both Kalrith and Popoca reached the gates, the giant doors opened. A deep soul tearing voice accompanied doors loud cranking.
"You sixteen have made it here, proving that you have what it takes to have a place in this arena. From you, one winner shall remain standing. This one person will have the chance to become the ultimate champion and earn the right to wield the Blade of Decimation. Fashioned from the bones and teeth of many Greater Daemons, its power is almost unmatched. Now, if you all make your way inside, you'll be put into a cell ready for match selection. The next time you will see each other is in the arena! As soon as your cell door opens, the match will begin! Those who prove worthy enough will rise to their destined glory, while those proven to be unworthy will suffer in the depths of eternal fire! Let the slaughtering begin!"

Another one? Well... let's roll the dice... and... Orcs and Goblins? Well, let's see...
Night Goblin Warboss
Talisman of Protectyness
Total : 135 points (Guess I could take two )
Skreel is the dirtiest, meanest, cheapet fihter his side of the Grey Mountains. Even for goblin standards he is a mailicous cheater. Over the past twenty years he has earned his title through ten years of bitter fighting underground. He goaded a unit of ironbreakers to charge by whooping an hollering them whilst slapping his rear only for the pit that had been covered unravel under the heavily armored dwarves. When facing a mighty Slayer, he threw fire dust in the dwarves eyes, blinding him.
Skreel where's bright yellow robes. His assortment of vicious weapons ar usually coated with some manenr of mpoison, magical or otherwise. With him are his two standard bearers carrying a long pole each with doznes of bears nailed on them. (He originally had one, but had to get a second)
Make no mistake. No matter how silly, or goofy Skreel can seem at times, there is the most calculated murderous intent behind every action. He has never once celbrated a win, always trying to think of more ways to win.

I am heading off to the Peace Corps. It is bery likely I will not be back. Good luck to all of you endeavors.
Thanks for reminder that dice exist, ive been writing out characters and i cant choose......
so, here i roll............5
And door number 5 opens....
Slowly advancing into sight appears to be a big shield moving on its own, that cant be right, a longer look rewards us with the sight of a rat-like face peeking around the shield. An arm holding a glowing sword follows the face. When nothing seems to be attacking the weapon is lowered and the face relaxes a bit. A worried looking Skaven Warlord slowly stands up to its full height, mutters to itself " I hope this is a good idea", then raises its voice and says "I ,Warlord Skritch, challenge anyone who thinks they can stand in the way of skaven might.". Theres a blur of motion and all we can see is the shield again, which slowly backs away out of sight.
Skaven Warlord Skritch
M5, Ws6, S4, T4, W3, I7, A4, Ld 7.
Blade of Black Fury - +2 attacks.
Cautious Shield - 6+ armour save that can be combined with other armour. One model in base contact loses 1 attack(can choose between character and mount if any). Bearer can decide not to attack at all, then enemy loses two attacks, choose at beginning of each close combat phase.
Bands of Power - Bound Spell(Power Level 4), Doubles bearers Strength until start of his next magic phase.
Talisman of Protection - 6+ Ward Save.
Total armour save=4+.
Tactics: Hide behind Cautious Shield unless he has Strength 8 or is almost dead, then jump out at enemy.
Zatoichi - The Blind Swordsman
Brought in from the distant lands of Nippon to compete in the arena, Zatoichi is considered a legend in his homeland. He is blind in both eyes, unable to see the slightest bit of what is around him. However, this disability has led to him becoming one of the most dangerous men alive. His sense of hearing and touch has become greater than that of almost any other living creature. The slightest movement of air and the quietest of sounds allow him to know exactly what is happening around him.
In battle he does not take his time, dispatching of his enemies as soon as possible. He is renowned for his ability to decapitate and disembowel and opponant in one swift movement of his blade.
"Even with my eyes wide open I can't see a thing..."
Race: Human (using Ogre Tyrant rules)
Katana of the Ancients (Skullplucker)
Enhanced Senses (Mawseeker)
Prayer Beads (Wyrdstone Necklace)
Blind Luck (Luck Gnoblar)
Hidden Blades (x2 Sword Gnoblars)

Hand weapon with Master rune of Smiting, Rune of Fury
Shield with Rune of Resistance, Rune of stone
points total of 273 i think.
Skalf Ironbeard has had extreme respect showered on him by his fellow Clansdwarfs and by other Dwarfs. He has gained this respect by three reasons, his beard has a unique colour of greyish iron. His great wealth made by trading his amazing weapon making to other dwarfs and by removing greenskins from Dwarf halls and returning all treasures to their rightful owners only accepting rewards if offered. He gained his respect by one more fact, his skill in warfare. The greenskins have known to fear the dwarf with the iron beard. He now sits in his holds trying to exact his grudge against all greenskins.
His grudge is known to very few, and if he tells you it means he trusts you extremely. He also has great pride and respect for other Dwarfs. He will never fight any Dwarf not in the employ of Chaos. Whenever possible he will challenge and kill all the greenskins he can.
The Dark Harvester. (Daemon Herald of Slaanesh).
Quickslither, Steed of Slaanesh: Daemonic, Fast Cavalry, Armour piercing, Poisoned Attacks.
Etherblade: Armour save may not be taken against close combat attacks by this Daemon.
Daemonic Robes: The Deamon can never be wounded on better than a 3+.
Allure of Slaanesh: Enemy models wishing to attack the Daemon must first pass a Leadership test.If the test is passed, the allure has no effect. If the test is failed, the affected model may not strike blows in that round of combat.
Total points: 215 Pts.
I am assuming that Chariots are banned as well? I could take one to eat points up, but even though they aren't on the ban list I assume they are. Clarify for me please, I would like to know.
Also let me know if Allure is legal, it doesn't specifically say one enemy, but could be taken as cheap or something. About the only thing Slaanesh Heralds have to keep them alive other than the Ward.
Fluff and Stuff coming soon, I'm sure people are curious as to why Odysseus is now a Daemon.
Yeah chariots are banned. To me they are a kind of monstrous mount. As for Allure of Slaanesh its allowed. It doesnt involve nominating a single model, its just everything wanting to attack it.
