No1cafc vs realitycheque
This is a battleline battle on this map:
No1cafc is deploying on the left.
No1cafc wins the roll off 3-1 and goes first.

Archmage (Shadow) spells: 4,5,5,3
-Book of Hoeth 360
-Banner of the World Dragon
-Great Weapon 202
21 Sea Guard
21 Sea Guard
21 Phoenix Guard
-Std Sorcery 390
9 Dragon Princes
-Banner of Swiftness
-Potion of Foolhardiness 340
2k High Elf list - Saphery Sentinels
Archmage (L4, Book of Hoeth) life spells: 3,2,4,4
BSB Noble (Dragon Armour, Shield, Helm of Fortune, Great Weapon, Guardian Phoenix) – 180
Mage (L2, Annulian Crystal) – 140 Shadow spells: 3,1
50x Spearmen - FC, Banner of Arcane Protection
15x Phoenix Guard - FC, Banner of Sorcery - 305
4x Repeater Bolt Thrower
Archmage: Swapping my duplicate for Regrowth, and the other Shield for Earth Blood.
Shadowmage: Swapping Steed for Miasma.
Deployment: Spearhorde to the left of the tower, PG to the right, both against the back line. RBTs in pairs slightly lined up with the front of the infantry on the outside - each group guarded by an Eagle. ArchMage/BSB with the PG, Shadowmage with the Spear.
Tactics: I'm late so I'll make it simple - sit back and shoot. First priority is the DPs, then the Eagles. I'll shoot the PG last, as I'll do better against them with a horde of attacks rather than shooting. Infantry blocks will only move forward once the enemy are within threat range of my bolt throwers. Spellwise I'll be boosting my guys and bringing them back from the dead rather than trying to hurt the other elves, although I will aim to slow them with Miasma.
Voting is open.
No tactics from No1cafc yet, i'll give him until i go to bed...
please remember to vote in bold.

Ha! Elves fighting eachother!
Well, at the moment I'd have to say realitycheque's elves would win for this simple reason ( and I am so ashamed that the winning of the round would have to depend on those silly megaspells buffed with book of hoeth archmages, which is a complete stereotype of 8th edition megamagic ) : Realitycheque's archmage can take dwellers below, and high elf strenght kinda.. sucks, across the board, almost entirely str3 except characters and whitelions. Also all those repeater bolt throwers can slaughter the poor 2+ save ( the "bad" cavalry save as it is so easily modified to make a difference, whereas str3 and str4 are equally effective against a 1+ save ) dragon princes, who are most likely immune to magic due to the BSB's, by wounding on 3's, modifying their save to 4+. Let's say all 24 bolt thrower shots, 12 hit, 8 wound, and 4 are saved. That's 4 dragon princes down in a single shot, provided they are in long range.
For everything else realitycheque can go crazy with dwellers below on No1cafc's archmage unit in the hopes of killing him quikly and have free reign over the magic phase, casting dwellers left and right, and buffing his own troops.
I am going to hold off on voting before I see the tactics though, if the plan is exceptionally good, or realitycheque's plan is exceptionally bad ( like NOT choosing dwellers ) then no1cafc can still pull a victory from it.
I think the High Elves have this. (Sorry couldn't resist, it's my first votewar...)
If I read realitycheques tactics correctly, he's not even going to take the wizards tower. Also note, that No1cafc is going first - Lsg shooting will (if math don't fail me completely) see ~1 rbt dead. The 3 Rbts will kills 3-4 Dps. In the second turn, the Dps can reasonably be expected to pull off a charge into the pg (9+9+9+7 inch on a 4" board). More importantly though, unless the Pg is only fielded 4 wide, at least two (likely mind razored) Dp's will be able to single out the archmage. that's 4 attacks, hitting on 3, wounding on 2, and once either side looses it's archmage, the game's officially over.
Sitting back and shooting, when your opponent brings a quarter of his army in cavalry, and not seizing the massive magical advantage, is just a bad plan. Personally, I'd have sunk all three characters in the PG, and deployed them near the Wiz tower, behind the tower and the spearhorde, forcing the dp to either halt their advance, or risk a sure charge from the spearmen (which, with the wiz tower, could've been mindrazored, too. 41 S8 attacks won't leave much of the Dp (In fact, with both units striking simultaneously, the dps and bsb will be wiped out, taking down ~12-13 Spearmen, assuming those don't have regen. (Not to mention, that shooting the rbts at something with less of a save, will be far more devastating, and that the enfeeble/dwellers combo will practically wipe out the PG, unless those charge, together with the archemage, head on into the roided up spearhorde )
Wrapping up - in a fight between two armies of the same kind, much more two glasscannon armies, seizing the initiative and by that the control, is vital. We only have realitycheques tactics, and he's deliberately giving away the initiative, besides many factors being in his favor, so my vote goes to No1cafc.
The Silver Knights of Tor Adrac (He): 26/2/4
The Spears of Slaanesh (Woc): 7/2/5
Battlegroup Chalybso (GK): 7/3/3
as only reality got his tactics in one must assume that No1cafc is going to rely on blind luck to win and i know the dice gods can be very loving or very nasty so luck is nothing to route for. as such with only one plan to go on my vote must go to Realitycheque
Seeing as realitycheque deploys with his elven ass to the backline, he will but roughly 32" between him and no1cafc, possibly delaying a Dp charge untill turn 3. The most important thing is that the shadow mage can reduce their movement. 2 turns of shooting should kill off almost all of them. Let alone using withering to lower their toughness. If the BSB were to survive long enough to charge and attack the archmage, he must hit and wound all 3 of his attacks. You won't find this happening too often, and realitycheque can easily block the BSB with an eagle, or... even easier.. just challenge the BSB with a champion.. Or a third option, if any dragon princes might survive the bolts then look where the BSB is in the DP unit, and reform the archmage unit so the archmage would not be in basecontact when the BSB and surviving DP charge. There are many ways to preserve the archmage from being killed by the BSB or DP.
After that life magic will be superior in this match to shadow magic. Elves don't give a damn about initiative spells, and the life archmage can counter buff his own units against hexes from the shadow archmage.
While I have no idea why you did not take dwellers ( seriously... that spell ends this matchup before it starts ) your other spells like regrowth should give you the edge in hand to hand ( after whitteling down no1cafc's units with bolt thrower fire ) as you can heal back casualties.
This one would be so easy to call, had you chose Dweller's...
I think that because you didn't it would actually cost the game here. The Well provides a semi reliable way for him to heal back any shooting damage you send off to him.
He can then just sit back and wither and shoot, negating regen with the Flaming LSG.

I think Realitycheque is well prepared to face the charge. He has a large amount of shooting, some good spells, and has access to the wizard's tower. There's certainly nothing wrong with opting for great defensive/healing spells rather than dwellers below.
Besides, what would he fire it at? There isn't a single enemy unit of No1cafc's that is the focus of his army. It's not worth miscasting and possibly destroying your own unit/lvl 4 wizard in order to wipe out 10 sea guard/phoenix guard.
