CDC Fluff Voting

Okay guys, you've been submitting tyranids for weeks, watching and waiting for the voting and now its here! You get to decide the fate of these monstrosities.

Now, the voting for the Creature Design Contest is open. You may vote here or pm me with your vote. In either case, put your vote in bold, both the designer and name of the creature. Voting should be done on origionality, creativity with both design and the story and basicly how well you like it. Please put a semi well thought out reason in your post or pm explaining why you think your vote deserves to win. Please read everyones before voting, some have been changed or added.

Here are the rules:

Fluff design
You must have a paragraph explaining what your creature is. You also need a short story, a paragraph is enough. Preferably you should have a sketch or picture of what the tyranid would look like but it isn't necessary. The tyranid must be different enough that it wouldn't be a recognizable creature. It may be a varient on a gaunt, warrior or other common creature though. These must be acceptably different, such as a lictor, ravener or tyrant guard from the warrior genus.

Voting will be open until the end of February 3rd, central time (USA, Canada, Mexico City). Some links may go to a post that has both rules and fluff, so scroll down a little to find the fluff, and without further due, here are the contestants!

It was a real tough choice because all the story's were great, so I had to choose the creature i liked best rather than the story, and my decision came down to two things.

The first, it was one of the few truly original creations. Sure all the entry's were of creatures that dont exsist, but the majority were just variations of already used creature.

The second was that while all the other entry's focused on creating a unit creature, leech's created a weapon creature. I liked this idea because far to often we forget that the weapons are living creatures too.

Macewind, technically you can vote for yourself, although it might be considered unsportsman-like if thats the only reason you are voting for yourself.

Yeah, I kinda forgot about biomorphes and weapons too when I made the thread. He thought out of the box. I don't like those people, they make everything more difficult.:tongue:
