New Votewar - Wide Open Fictional Characters Showdown

OK I hope that its alright to start one as no one seems to be using this board atm. I'll run this if people want to play I'l need at least 5 teams (including mine) to make it worthwhile.

The premise of this is to make teams of 4 fictional characters (any you like) and then we have them fight in a Battle Royale (I'll explain the rules for that in a moment).

An example team for people who don't get what I mean would be something like:

Team Syphon
Elric (With Stormbringer)
Dracula
Mephiston
Kariya Jin

Try to theme your teams a bit if you can, but you don't have to the only rule I put on character selection is no 'god' characters, these will be at my discretion, but the characters I've put up are a good idea of the sort of power level we are looking at.... saying that feel free to try any character you want I'll allow pretty much anything as long as its not silly.

Right onto how this is going to work I'll put up a list of the teams and then people will be allowed to vote (anyone, not just people with teams).

Each team starts with 4 Health

Each round you may vote only once, to do so you choose a team to 'Activate' and a team to 'Hurt' the same team can be activated by different people multiple times in one round. When you Activate a team it gains 1 Health, the team you designate to Hurt loses 1 Health as it is attacked by the activated team.If a team reaches 0 Health they are out of the game.

In addition to health teams also have Levels, each team starts at level 1. A team leevels up by getng to a predefined amount of health (intially 8, rising by 2 points for each subsequent level up). Once a team has levelled up each of its characters supplies a special power that may be used if you activate them in the following round, each power will be decided on by me and will be posted at the time of levelling up. When a team levels up it is reset to its previous base health +1 (so 5 when they get to level 2, 6 at level 3 and so on).

Thats pretty much it, heres an example:

A round of voting follows with multiple votes like this, each person only voting once:

Activate: Team Syphon
Hurt: Team Catfish

and then the table is updated to look like this

So any fictional characters are legal in this? Interesting...I could see some people as being quite powerful.

The teams square off in the arena, a pool of shadow grows in one corner as a group of barely seen individuals lurks, oppposite them there is a space with just the sugestion that three people fill it and a man in a black gi with a gigantic sword stares around the arena. against a third wall lounge four figures radiating power, now and again one of them will smile revealing a flash of elongated canine. A voice cna be heard from near the fourth wall as a man in abattered breatplate drops a cigar on the floor and stubs it out. "Soemthing tells me these people aren't going to come quietly. I just wish I brought detritus adn hsi crossbow along."

This might be bellow the board, but thats par the course for my guys activate team (BADASS) to hit team Ninja. (Cause I know just how dangerous Deadpool is.)
