Welcome everyone to LO's 3rd installment of Fantasy Votewar.
The point limit will be 2000 points. This will be a double elimination tournament.
We will be using 2 SEED lists for this Votewar. (Thanks to gingerninja for his work on them)
What should be included in your army lists
All lists that are made need to follow The Army List Posting Rules.
-Name of Army
NOTE: Make sure the magic level of ALL mages are listed.
At the end of the list these things need to be included as well:
-Total points, # of PD, DD, and scrolls
Total points: 1997
Power Dice: 8 (Incantation dice if your TK)
Dispel Dice: 4 (2 Scrolls)
-Brief description of army specific magic items
Chariots of Fire: Gives the Chariot D6+1 impact hits. All hits count as flaming.
-Any basic tactical info you want to give about your list
Things that will change from match to match
-First turn. Will be rolled for before each match.
NOTE: All Bretonnian players must tell before the match begins if they DO NOT want to pray. Otherwise I will assume ALL Bretonnian armies will ALWAYS pray, thus going 2nd.
-A map will be randomly selected for each match. The player listed first, will deploy in the TOP deployment zone. The player listed 2nd will deploy in the BOTTOM deployment zone. (Thanks to Cyric the Mad for all the work he put into making the maps we are using!)
NOTE: Wood Elf generals need to specify where they will place their extra forest each round.
-Players must post which lores each mage will be using before each fight along with the order they want each spell to be chosen in. Spells will be rolled for before each match.
Mage 1 (lvl 3) - Lore of Fire; Order = Spell #5,1,3,4,6,2
D6 rolls = 3,5,6
Spells chosen would be 5, 1, and 3. (6 is defaulted out for 1 since 1 was higher on the list given by the player)
Round info and Voting Rules
All times are Eastern Daylight Time. This may not be your local time.
-Rounds will start at Midnight on the date listed and run for 3 days.
-If a Round is tied after 3 days, an extra day will be given to break the tie.
-If a Round is still tied after 4 days, a Powervote will be taken into account to break the tie.
Voting Rules (Thanks to Caluin):
Yes! Anyone is free to look over the threads and cast their vote as they see fit. You don't need to have a list in the tournament in order to cast a vote. There are two universal rules for casting a vote, however -
1) The list you vote for must be in bold. This makes it easy for us to tally the votes at the end.
2) You must give a reason as to why you voted how you did. The whole idea is to garner feedback on the lists, so a vote without feedback serves no purpose. Also, stating "I agree with so and so" is not a valid reason. Even if you are simply repeating someone else, sometimes stating something in your own words gives better perspective than just a blanket "I agree" statement.
3) You cannot vote for your list. You can argue for it and defend it, but you cannot vote for it.

Right. Hello all,
I thought I would post here to save you all trying to search one of my posts out to PM me your lists. Here I am. Please send me your lists asap, so that I can judge them for legality, and then set you up accordingly.
If you get a return PM from me, it means there is something amiss with your list that you need to fix before it can be entered. I will be checking point totals too, so no sneaking them in, ok? :shifty:
Has GN passed on that ive decided not to run in this VW? If its going to cause an inconvenience (drop the # of players to an odd number), then I dont mind sticking with it. But if it's no hassle, I'd like to opt out. Being a competitor, I'd feel compelled to go through and vote all the time, which is very time consuming- and I have a lot of painting projects in need of that time. Apologies.

@ Manu, its no problem at all. Ginger let me know a few days ago.
For the rest of the Votewar people, look for things to be starting up this week sometime.
If you find a list to be invalid, do you delete it from your PM list? If so, please let me know via PM so I can resubmit my list, (I hope my last PM reached you in time.)
Every whisper of the future from the Warp speaks of a hundred battles lost, a thousand lives devoured and a million enemies born. -- Inquisitor Lord Babel
Right, I have all the lists that are workable in my PM box, and stored in a word document off of the internet, just in case something terrible happens!!!
If a list was wrong, I kept the original until I received a corrected revision, which in all cases I have,(including yourself Babel). All lists are legal and will be passed to Spector soon.
Oh, I just realized something, you guys. I'm going to be out from friday the 27th to Saturday the 4th. I'm just going to Hawaii, so I bet that i will have internet access, but in accordance with my luck, I probably will have barely any time to go in the 'net. Didn't realize this until now. So sorry about that. But I still would like to be in the votewar, if that's possible.
Tyranids 1850 - 10/0/0 Models sold off, but I still sometimes play with proxies.
High Elves 2000 - 0/1/1 Starting, don't have any models.
Its no problem.
All the lists have been passed onto me. Expect to see the first round match-ups up within the next 24-36 hours.
