Simple poll, what armies do you currently play and why? You can click multiple choices, but remember this is about what you PLAY, not what you OWN
As for my own part I play Beastmen because they are the only army I own so far...

Revenant Moon Necrons: (W/L/D) 10/2/2 (5th edition: 14/6/4)(3rd edition Codex: 16/4/7)

Something Wicked... Reikwald Beastmen: (W/L/D) 9/3/1
even though they arent as competitive as my unfinished warriors of chaos, bretonnians are just my favorite, i just like the race the most, i enjoy playing with them, it is like superhero action figures, superman could probably trash everyone with lazer beams, but i always picked the batman figure cuz i liked him more
I when I started the hobby in '05 I picked up Tomb Kings because I had always wanted to play as the Undead and didn't like the 'mainstream' feel of Vampire Counts. 5 years later and having given up on us getting updated for a while I started Dark Elves as I wanted a competetive, evil army that wasn't chaos but was still deadly in it's own right. Then, earlier this year I picked up Beastmen to challenge me painting (I experimented with blue skin) and gaming wise as they are a much more 'brutal' army that Dark Elves and not quite as subtle as them or Tomb Kings (except maybe for the ambush rule).
"Take their gold, burn their homes, kill their familes and enslave their souls. Show them no mercy...oh and could you post these letters while you're out?"
-Malekith, Witch King of Naggaroth.
I used to play Tomb Kings and I now play Wood Elves.

For the past 2 years i havent gone to a tourney without my greenskins or Bretts
Eternal Newbie
Warchief Diggah o da Bloodmoon Squiggahs

Tournament switchblade- Warriors of Chaos
Also play High Elves, and Empire.
Ownership is pretty extensive, considering I have played VC, OnG, Brets, Dwarfs, and WE. I don't just collect an army to have the models- I usually build up to about a 2k-2.5k list with them, playing them the whole time until I've got them dialed in.
I can also pick up and play (but do not own)
Skaven, Dark Elves, Ogres, and Lizardmen with confidence. My friend owns the armies, and I've swapped lists or used his models in pickup games.
It's what happens when you spend over 50% of your time on Earth with this hobby...

Started fantasy by going halves in the Island of Blood box with a mate. Assembled the high elves, got bored and left them. 2 months later I picked up a box of chaos warriors and thought, yeah these guys are pretty cool, since then I've been steadily growing my force. Still learning the ropes of Fantasy having been a 40k player initially but the rules and feel of fantasy just appeal to me so much more.
I am, however, considering starting a small force of Bretts soon to expand upon later. Still not sure

WoC - they're just too awesome.
I did just literally buy two battalions of beastmen though based on a thread in which rothgar13 had suggested an easy way to make a viable 1k army. I decided I would make my nephew a beastmen army.
Interesting, although we've had only 11 voters so far I would have expected at least some votes for High Elves and Vampire Counts.

My Beastmen are my pride and joy, though I've dabbled in Warriors of Chaos and would like to try Lizardmen next.
