Well the best Orc fluff to be found is from the 5th ed army book, or from online sites such as dawarpath. Other than that you're limited to what you can find, because GW saw fit to get rid of the great parts of the books ![]() You should be able to find the book cheap on ebay. But sorry to say GW are lacking in the Gork & Mork area, not even the old ed book has anything baout them in it. KU |

I read all of the above, but I still don't feel like I know what constitutes fluff.

fluff is the backround behind your army or race either you can make up your own or Games-workshop makes fluff for all their races.

I have a question. What exactly are the Old Ones? I know at some point GW was trying to make the Fantasy world a part of the 40k one, but called it off. Half the time the Old Ones sound like space aliens seeding the world with life, anyway. But, since I hear 40k and Fantasy are definately not in the same continuity, space aliens doesn't fit. Are they the counterparts to the Chaos Gods, gods of Order? Are they actually gods in their own right, or simply incredibly powerful beings? Also, which races owe their existence to the Old Ones? I know most of the Lizardmen races were created or evolved by them, and that the Halflings and Ogres are also their creations. What about the Dwarves and Elves? I'm guessing that humans are not one of their creations, and they evolved on their own and represent a monkey-wrench in everyone's plans. |

They can still be from space, like the Slaan. The Slaan in fantasy are from space (I think, atleast I heard that allot). They are just not connected to 40k anymore (I beleive they are what the old ones were in 40k, or atleast one of the races created by them).

No, they are not space aliens. They where created by the old ones to help maintain the order of the world they had created. Read the Lizardmen book, they have alot of fluff concerning the old ones and the creating of the world, and how it became infected with chaos. The birth of man should be there aswell. Maybe give a try to find the 5th edition lizardmen book too? The big question is: where does gork and mork come from? How did they create the greenskins? Is there anything in the Warhammer Roleplay-books? I heard they have alot of fluff never mentioned in other books.
