Question concerning Mounted Characters in units.

I want to run a unit of Silverhelms 3X5
1st rank Musician Champ Standard Prince on griffon
2nd rank Helm Helm Mage Helm Helm
3rd rank Helm Helm Helm Helm Helm

Is this allowed and would the unit still charge like cavalry just with a movement of 6?

If the Griffon is Monstrous Cavalry then yes he can. If it's a full Monster then no he can't. Pretty sure the Griffon in a Monster though......... So no.

The character layout would be ok if they were all on horses, though.
