Refer to page 112 of the warhammer rule book. Unbreakable units are immune to fear, terror, panic and any other psycology rules. They never run from combat even when beaten by a fear causing enemy, prefering the fight to the death option.

Unbreakable includes Immune to Psychology. The whole point behind it is that they never run away (or break), ever. It IS the name of the rule. Besides, slayers want to die, their names include giantslayers, trollslayers, daemonslayers, I don't think they're going to have trouble with some skeletons.
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, even if it's wrong.
they did when my vampire lord was in the unit....lol
They may have had trouble killing the vampire lord, but I bet they didn't run off:p

It's not exactly the same, though. Wouldn't a banshee's howl hurt a slayer unit?Originally Posted by §ilent§torm

Slayers are unbreakable; thus as per the rules they never have to take any Psychchology or break tests. Ever. Thus anything that doesn't affect a ItP unit don't affect them either, so no the Banshee's howl won't work.
Any ItP isn't the same as Unbreakable; the main difference being ItP units still have to take Break tests, Unbreakable ones don't.

I don't know. On page 270 of the BRB is the statement: "Unbreakable units never need to take Break tests and are also immune to psychology tests such as fear, terror, or frenzy."Originally Posted by King Ulrik Flamebeard
It's not a statement that covers all psychology tests, only a few. Even with the vague "such as," it's still not an exhaustive statement.
And a howl's efficacy is not based on a leadership test. It is based on leadership, yes, but nonetheless it is not a leadership test. It's no different than someone taking a toughness test because of a magic item, or basing results on initiative in some circumstance.
Is there an FAQ or Errata addressing this kind of thing that I should be looking at? Or more detailed rules for unbreakable?

immune to psychology means that they are immune to pyshcology. they never take psychology. if the banshee's howl states "take a psychology test" then the slayers are immune, because as stated they never take them
I work under the assumption that banshee howls and tomb king casket of souls affect slayers. They still have Ld 10, which makes them a though nut to crack even with these specail attacks.
I kill two dwarves in the morning, I kill two dwarves at night. I kill two dwarves in the afternoon, and then I feel allright. I kill two dwarves in time of peace, and two in time of war. I kill two dwarves before I kill two dwarves, and then I kill two more.
