From inference in the BRB and army books, I *assume* that army specific items cannot be duplicated in an army, but common magic items can?

However, I cannot find a rule anywhere in any of the books that specifies this. I assume there is one, can anyone point me to it?

Also/as well, would anyone care to point out the 'characters can carry any number of scrolls' rule I keep hearing so much about?

it's all in the 4th paragragh on pg. 120. under magic items. you can have as many scrolls as you can carry. and you are half correct about there only being one of that magic item on the battlefield for your army. you can't have 2 heroes with the same exact magic sword. they can both have magic swords but they just have to be different. it doesn't matter if it's just for your army or if it's a common item.

It's all on pg120 BRB under "Magic items". All the questions you have asked are answered on that page. They are the rules for all magic items, regardless of source.

(It even uses a common magic item as an example about multiples!{confused})
