Fantasy Votewar MkV: A Tale of Gamers!

The time has come! The next Fantasy Votewar is upon us!

So... what twist have we gone with this time? Well... If you have ever seen or heard of something called 'A Tale of 4 Gamers' then think along those lines.

Beginning by choosing a pool of 750pts of units and options from your relevant army book, each week you may add 500pts.

Each week, the players will be paired off into VW matches, starting at 500pts and increasing by 500 each time. Your army is chosen AFTER you discover your opponant, but you may ONLY select from units, items and wargear which has been purchased within your pool.

Once the group stages are over, top X players will then advance into the knockout stages. These finals will be with armies of 2000pts, constructed from your then 2250 limits. You will select one army list to participate in all of your finals matches.

Important Information here!
Please watch this space, it will be continually updated with lists of matchups etc.

A note on late lists:
If a list isnt in, the game is delayed until the next batch go up (so my delayed games would go up as AFGs games do, etc)
If the list still isnt in by that time, then the other player auto wins. If neither list is in, then the game is just skipped.
Also, for late lists there is a 10% pts penalty, i.e in a 500pt game, late lists will need to be 450pts.
UNLESS advance notice is given to your group coordinator, in which case the opponant ill be notified of the delay, and the game will proceed as normal when possible.

There will be no tactics posts, those which do appear will be deletd (you have been warned )

To vote, post a reply in the relevant thread stating the name of the army which you think will win, in bold, and then an explanation as to why. This can be as long or sort as you like, but must be legit. Decisions over votes are made by myself and AFG, and are final.

Never been in a VW before but I would like try, I'll be playing good ole wood elves. I just love the guys, thinking of making a Narinain themed army atm.

I'm going to have to pass on this one. My laptop fried itself about a month ago, leaving me with only my iTouch/library for internet connections, and I'm not sure that I'll be able to get on that much until I'm able to get a new desktop/laptop. So have fun, and pass the word around of my computer situation .
