Nagash himself couldn't have conjured a better matchup for the Vampire Counts. OK has some big disadvantages here. The only thing that could make it better for VC is to have terror causer or two on the table.

The vc army is just far to big for the ogres to combat effectively.
Given that the ogres have meagre magic defense as well, it will only make the situation worse...

Have to agree on this one. VC. Knights will be packing one deadly (get it , dead-ly, ha!) punch.

Vampire Counts have this, the entire army counters the Ogres, and they would be relying on their magic heavily in this battle, something they don't have enough off.

VC because they can get those ogres into combat and then stick them there by summoning continual replacements for any deaths that may have occured then flank/rear charge them with knights/ghouls and beet the OK in CR at the very least.

The ogres have met the tarpit that they just can't wade through.

It is a shame, but with the magical superiority and unbreakable numbers on there side, I can only see this going to the VC.

As much as i like Ogres, i cant seem them winning this. If the VC magic offence was a little lower then maybe, but there will jus be too many units for the Ogres to get through i think.
