    I will deploy my army in a defensive position in the bottom right corner close to the back line, with 2 bat units deployed 12" on the board equal distance from each other and the left and right board edges.

    With the bats flying off to march block in the 1st 2 turns, I should have 3 turns or so to raise and react to his movement and ambushes. After that it will be fear and numbers that will give me the edge as he wades through 88pt ghoul units that will be significantly larger and my varghulf and blood knights take any opportunities to damage his army. Any bats or wolves left will be used to annoy and limit his movement whilst the hellsteed lord and vamp fly around not getting killed and using vanhels unsure I don't get outmaneuvered. Any chances to take out his wizards will be taken be it combat, magic or psychology.

    Just by lists, I htink Caekman has the advanatge. He has enough disepl dice to stop the majority of unit raising. However, as no1cafc has a stratey cominng into it that looks solid enough, I'm oing with VC.

    I like BoC. Flying VC lords can find themselves in a world of hurt and away from the main army. Ambushing will still hurt and the worst of summoning can be dealt with. Beasts have a lot of damage potential, especially on the charge. BoC for me.

    The VC plan is a good one, but i also think its flawed because if they deploy back then the ambushing units impact will be immiediate.
    That coupled with a competative magic phase, and the impact units causing fear or having mark of chaos undivided give this to the beasts

    I'm going to go with BoC as the Vampire army is relying too much on the magic phase which will be pretty tough with 2 dispel scrolls and quite a few dispel scrolls. Once the overwhelming numbers of Beastmen start rolling into combat on turn 3, things will start looking pretty glum for the VC.

    I just want to point out that in a game using victory points as long as my Vampires and vampire units are still alive at the end the bulk of my army gives away 564 VP's all of which is expendable to keep my vamps alive and aid their goal of taking out the beast in bite(pun intended)size chunks. Whether they will stay alive is another story but the 'bulk' section will certainly be taking the enemy with them if they do.
