Votewar: Day of Judgement

Ladies and Gentlemen,

On this day a dark shadow moves to engulf your land. You have been called to amass your armies (no more than 2250 points worth) and meet me upon the field of battle. Resistance is futile, but I shall allow the champions of your land to compete to decide who can challenge the shadow that comes forth.

The gauntlet has been cast down, the Day of Judgement comes. Let those who will rise to defend these lands rise now, before all is scattered to dust before you. I am but a herald for the destruction that comes, but let any who thinks he can be engulfed by the shadow and remain unscathed come forth and do battle upon the field.

Im curious though... would i be allowed to test out a Beastmen list from my own book? Dont worry, its not overly powerful.. ive just done what GW shouldve done a long time ago

Baically you make a Warhammer list like you would for a game (and including whatever rules/restriction a specific votewar has), and PM to whoever is checking the lists. Then from there you just vote for the other fights and hope your list wins it all. Sometimes you'll be asked to write brief tactics as well.

However, I'm waiting for Sorin to make a second post before I spend the time to make a list, just to make sure.

Sounds about right. However, I wouldn't message Spector about anything as he's been inactive for some time, and Cyric the Mad sticks his head in now and again, but seems to have left the WHFB boards for a bit.

@OP, Gingerninja, as you know, is still active around here, and is very reliable if you want any SEED lists created (but bear in mind that people will complain about them no matter what - so don't take it personally when it happens) and the like. Myself and Phoenix are also very active and always willing to help out, and DavidVC04 has changed his name to DavidWC09 if you have trouble tracking him. Of late, life's been getting a bit busy for him, however, so I wouldn't count on his full attention to this.

Andre is always up for a votewar. Count me in. When are we planning on starting and how will it run? i.e. double elimnation or groups and knock-out, Do people post tactics or not, Would we use maps, rool for spells, first turn, etc...
