It has been a while since Sorin_Markov posted about running a votewar and it seems he hasn't been active for a while so unless he returns I have been thinking about running a votewar. If he returns I will postpone mine unless I have enough entrants to get mine underway.

So I present to you the HeroVW.

Those of you unfamiliar with vote wars be sure to check the threads that are stickied in this sub-forum.

I want this VW to be different to previous ones so I have come up with the following:

Rules
- Armies may be no bigger than 2250pts
- Armies may not use a Lord Choice
- Armies may not use Special Characters
- Armies must be current tournament legal, to avoid confusion I am not allowing the fan written Chaos Dwarf list (the PDF ravening hordes PDF may be used) or Phoenix's Beasts of Chaos as not everyone has seen or even heard about them.
- Armies must have an interesting name

VW Structure

The VW will follow the swiss system tournament structure and will last 6 rounds. Each round you will be able to score 20 tournament points based on the percentage of votes you receive. This percentage will be rounded to the nearest 5 and divided by 5.

Eg. In a match where player A receives 2 votes and player B receives 7 votes the percentage will be 22.2% for player A and 77.8% for player B . This will result in player A recieving 4 points and player B receiving 16 points.

Each round will involve maps and tactics like previous VW's.

Favorite Army

During the VW I will ask each entrant to vote for the army they like the most other than their own. This can be for any reason be it you would like to try it out in real life, they came up with something original or it's simply 'broken'. The army which receives the most votes will be awarded 5 tournament points at the end of the tournament. This hasn't been done in a VW before but I think it adds something to it and could spark up some discussion on the lists that are submitted which is what VW's are about, list creation.

After 6 rounds the player with the most points will be crowned champion.

That sums it up so post your interest here and any questions you may have. I'm hoping to get this underway by the end of the month at the latest, depending on interest.

Either post or pm me if you're interested and I'll add you to this list. The names that are Red I have received your lists, once I have checked them you will go Green and be ready to go.

TKs with no Lord may be difficult, so i think ill run Beasts. The actual BoC of course, and not my Beastmen

I think I will join this. It is my first votewar and I think it is time to get my dwarf army tried out. This will not end up like a normal game seeing as I am completely lucky and roll ridiculous artillary.
