Right then i just wanted to see what you thought of some idea's ive been having for stories. Not all of them are exactely gw based but i know there are several very good writers on LO so im looking for some opinions.

The main one i've been knocking around is a vampire story, before you all go boooo, its been done a hundred times since bram stoker but i want to do one completely from the vampires perspective, and make it more the main vampire (haven't thought of a name yet - any ideas helpfull) is at war with other vampires. So its one house of vampires versus another so politics come into play and what not.

I'm gonna set it in a world where vampires are the bosses and humans just slaves and ofcourse food. I want to try and give the perspective of a lonely creature, wracked by guilt of his actions over centuries and how he can deal with the eternal boredom and lack of true friendship that he will never attain coz basically every vampire king or lord is only out for themselves.

I am ofcourse also trying to write my 'Damnation' story which a few of you have commented on but im having a hard time getting it started. So any ideas welcome there also, i mean just a setting for the beggining scene would be nice as after i get going i can write pretty quick. If you don't know that one just look in note pad for a thread with Damnation as the title.

Anyway, thats it and as i always say all comments and ideas are welcome.

Is the vampire sad, lonely, and racked w/ guilt because he was once a human but got turned into a vampire, and is sad now because he has to eat his little friends?

Not really, he is still one complete ***** who eats humans with glee, (he's not some stupid Angel rip off) but he is seriously old and with age has brought moments of madness or clarity whichever way you want to see it.

So at moments he has the greatest compasion for his human slaves but the next he snaps back and becomes what he is. He has forgotten his past life, if he ever was human to begin with or if he has always been what he is.

His main driving force would be for his line or house to continue and not see it in ruins at the hands of another vampire.

that vampire one sounds cool. i always like vampire stories, and this one is pretty unique sounding(which is always good)
are these vampires gonna use medival weapons or modern or a cool mix of the two?

Hmm. The idea is cool, although to me it seems a little bit too 'Underworld'ish. What you should do, and this is a completely SUGGESTIVE idea so dont take this angrily, but you should have a vampire that was a human, and he got turned vampire, now dont get me wrong, he likes being a vampire, but he also is mad that he is a vampire cuz he liked human too, so he takes revenge on all vampires, while still liking to kill humans, and he wants to cleanse the world of other vampires and humans. so like you could have one part where he traps a vampire in a glass prison and waits til the sun comes out to watch the ***** squirm. another cool murder scene that would pretty funny is that he walks into a room with a squirt gun and just unloads on a bunch of vampires. once again, all just suggestions, but i think it would be cool.

Yeah, not a bad idea, and i never get angry at constructive critiscm.

I see what you mean about 'Underworld' but where as in that it showed a unified vampire nation, i would do it where all the vampires are odds.

yeah after going over the post i liked yer idea better than mine, but i think that you should use the murder scenes i mentioned, those would be really cool, anyway i hope yer story goes well and you have my full support.
