I was just a little worried that lots of people seem to set their stories in the ninja-samurai environment, for no other reason than 'it's cool', and in my eyes it could be looked upon as a not particularly creative idea for a setting. But, as you said yourself, you kind of need the Samurai version of honour for this story to work, and don't really have the option of creating your own setting.

Hye Guys, I just wanted to stop by and let you guys know that everything is still coming along. I'm slowly cutting and changing parts of the story, hopefully to make it come out much better. Unfortunately, school load is massive right now, but I'm close to finishing the second draft. Once I've got it done though I'll post it right here and on my Booksie site, which I'm just starting to try out. I think it'll be different enough to warrant a second read (I hope so anyway). But thanks for the support thus far, hope to get a more finished product to you soon.

EDIT: Oh, and anyone new who reads the thread don't panic if the story dissapears after a long time, because of copyright reasons, I don't feel comfortable leaving the story up on a permanent basis. But it should be posted for the foreseeable future no problem.

Oh, and a quick note, the current version posted is the original with a few grammar and spelling corrections.
