I am currently playing a strict Nurgle army that is totally WYSIWYG.
Now I'm starting to think about using differnet marked units in the army. I still want to keep the cohenrency of the army though.
What exactly is demanded of a miniature in regards of what mark of chaos it has?
My nurgle army is painted catchacan green, some browns and blazing orange as contrast colour.
My plan is to paint the Slaneesh characters (yes, two lashes) I'm planning on adding in orange with greens and browns as contrast. (I saw a nice slaneesh army painted in orange in a old WD)
But do they need any other things to distinguish them? Can they still have pustules and sores?
To tell you the truth I dont really care what the rules say but it would be fun to know what you think is demanded to keep with WYSIWYG.
Maybe you could take the bright colours usually associated with Slaanesh and mute them a bit with darker earthier tones.
That may just give you the nurgle feel you're looking for.
I'd say paint the mark of slaanesh on their shoulder pads and you're good to go. Last time I checked 'the pus filled sores of death' wasn't an option so you're probably good.

I came, I saw, I got a different type of Leman Russ.

Hey,Gav has ruled that you don't get a vote on that. No coherency, sorry.I still want to keep the cohenrency of the army thoughIt has to be reflected in the points costs paid on your army list. What exactly is demanded of a miniature in regards of what mark of chaos it has?No and yes.do they need any other things to distinguish them? Can they still have pustules and sores?Just pay for it. Daemons aren't WYSIWYG any more. It doesn't matter what they 'look' like.it would be fun to know what you think is demanded to keep with WYSIWYG.
Greater Daemon models sold with wings can't fly. Possessed kits have wings. They can't fly.
WYSIWYG is up to TOs and opponents, otherwise, anything goes.
