Is it cheesy to give Terminators the Mark of Tzeentch now??
It gives them all a 4+ invul save instead of a 5+...
I also am thinking about a 10 man assaulty squad with Mark of Slaanesh so it will strike first against the loyalists (and simultaneously with their IC's). I will do another assaulty squad with the mark of Khorne just because...are there flaws in my ideas?
Once a Marine, always a Marine.
There's nothing really cheesy about taking Terminators. Most of the options are pretty effective - a 4+ Invulnerable Save for Tzeentch Terminators or 3 attacks each for a Khorne Termy. There's nothing really cheesy about that at all. Just make sure you know how you're going to get them into the thick of it and take care that you don't end up spending too many points on a single unit.
1000th Post! For Chaos!
I really don't think it could be considered "cheesy" to give them a mark either.
Sure, the whining people will whine, but then again- they'll do that what ever you take in your army.
If you listen to them you'll end up with no army at all bar a few rhinos and some CSMs with neither Champ nor special weapons led into battle by "Worthless the Blind and Crippeled, mocked by Chaos Undivided" in his infamous wheelchair of bulletcatching.
If its legal, its not cheesy. Even overly powerful/priced units have weaknesses.
4+ invul is still only a 4+ invul. Plasma will make them suffer hugely still.
W/D/L Eleventy trillion billion/NONE/ NONE - I am STILL rulezor!
WINDMILLS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY!
Just to add a bit more, Tzeentch termis fall just the same as regular termis against basic bolter fire. This is how most opponents are now dealing with everything Tzeentch. Plus, it's not exactly a cheap upgrade. You have to take 8 termis just to bring the cost down to 5 points a model.
