    Combi Melta

What about putting a combi melta on a AC in a squad and giving him a power weapon or power fist. Can we do that in the new codex and would it be worth it tactical?

Yes, you can do those options. It's not a bad idea in some instances. For example, if you're wanting that second special weapon shot, and yet, you can't afford 10 marines in a squad, then you can include a combi-melta as a one shot substitute. This works well in smaller games.

Or, if you have remaining point once you've built your army, then you might consider adding a combi-weapon.
