Can A Termie-Lord Deep Strike with the Terminators?
Thanks in Advance
It is for this reason that if deep striking termies, it is useful to take 2 units of termies-as I do (that and with 2 sets I get an all power-weapon squad and an all fist squad.)
Asking for suggestions without knowing what you're planning on doing is like asking a blind man what color shirt matches your eyes.
It's precisely because of the lack of retinues that terminator lords aren't as effective in 4th edition (though, I'm not sure they were *that* good of an option in 3rd either). The only reason for using terminator armor on an hq is when putting him in a land raider with a terminator squad. Even then, you're required to start the lord outside the land raider, and then, have him join the terminator squad.

For example, Yriel, blah-blah of the elder-something: He's with a unit of Dire Avengers in a transport. Does he need to start outside it during deployment and then move into the transport?
The reason I ask is that we have a faclon heavy eldar player that uses bladestorm and doom. He starts yriel in one of like... 3 transports. They move 12, dump, and unleash shuriken (sp.) hell.
So instead should he not be able to deploy on turn one, because he should be putting Yriel in the transport, preventing it from dumping troops in the same turn?
Uhm... if that was convuluted, which it feels like, please let me know.
