I am having trouble deciding how or what to do in order to transfer my army from the previous edition of the codex to the new one. I don't have any problems with my the new codex at all, on the contrary I am quite happy with it (other than the daemons, but we'll have to wait and see on that).
What I really want to know is: what should I do with the models that I have?
I want to keep them as Nurgle as possible, but I wouldn't mind taking some of the other models now available to me if it is more tactically advantageous. And if I do take non-fluffy units, any ideas on how to fluff them up a bit?
Lemme break down my army as of now-
Fully painted with Nurgle scheme
- Sorcerer Termie
- 14 plague marines (2 melt, 1 plas. pistol, 1 plas. gun)
- 7 terminators (2 combi-melt, 2 reapers, 2 PF, 2 ChF)
- Defiler (infested with nurglings)
- GD of Nurgle
Unpainted, but still Nurglized
- Land Raider (infested with nurglings)
- 14 plaguebearers
- 5 nurgling bases
So what kind of models/units will I need to add to make a viable 1500/2000 pt army? Should I do a bit of repainting and try to make them into a nurgloid branch of the Black Leigon? Can I take models with diffrent marks and still call them Nurgle? Should I give everyone MoN for fluff or is it too expensive points-wise?
Any help, suggestions, ideas, comments or criticisms are welcome.

well i dont know about the mark, thats entirly up to you.
i really like the idea of nurgle bikers, thats one tough unit, plus the modeling options open to you are imense.
And theres one thing EVERY chaos army should have,iv thought this even before the nex codex.

First of all, the models you have translate VERY well into fourth edition. Terminators have gotten a huge boost and are downright frightening now. The reaper autocannons arent nearly as good as they used to be, it seems heavy flamers, lightning claws, and fists are the new way to do it. Defilers also got a huge boost.
As far as other marks go, feel absolutely free to take them even if you maintain your army is all nurgle. Fluff wise, the "Counts as" rule means you get to make up whatever you like. If you want to take a khorne mark then say they are cyborgs / mutants / have plunger weapons for hands / tentacles / spit bullets / whatever that gives them their extra attack. Use your creativity for the fluff, and if you model appropriately you can include any marks in an all nurlge army.
