I just wanted to know if Ahriman, one of the coolest models there is and has the coolest fluff, is really worth it. Sure he has loads of powers, but usually (thanks to my crappy dice rolls) he can only use 1 in a turn. And he only has toughness 4, no deamonic rune, and the Black Staff isn't a power weapon. What gives? So i juist wanted to know if he's really worth it, or if I should just get a lord with a bunch of thralls (using ahrimans model of course). Thanks alot!
Don't look now... But there's one man too many in this room and I think it's you.

Make your own lord! Definitely!
..but it sure is a sweet model
ahriman isn't worth it. think realisticly how many times you can use those powers before being crushed in assault by any half decent guy. I played a game against him, he never got to use any powers, killed virtually no-one and was cut down shamefully in combat...and this is with good dice rolls. Definitely take your own personalised lord, although you would have to do some converting on the ahriman model to use and accurately represent your lord.
Apathy is the greatest enemy of all.
Actually very few of the special characters are worth it. There geared for all arround skill but most people use specalized characters. I.E. a cc monster. Go with your own lord.
it is true that many of the special characters arent worth their points cost....................however i think that Ahriman has got to be the worst one in the chaos codex by far... just look at him, he sux (but the model is cool)
