Now that I've deterined that Ahriman is not a good investment of points, I need some help customizing a lord, preferably around 90-140 points. I always seem to go overboard, and ijust wan to know what is a must, and what can be left out. I usually play against marines and eldar. Thanks alot!

Don't look now... But there's one man too many in this room and I think it's you.

Bolt of Change, always -- you HAVE to take out those LRs and Wave Serpents somehow. Bedlam Staff is good too. Combine that with D. Strength, a Thrall Wizard, Disc of Tzeentch and a Tzeentch Minor Psyker Power and you're set. Or, ditch the disk and give him termie armor and a retinue.

Personally i like to make my Lords CC heavy, with BOC of course. Go for a Dark Blade, Mutation, Extra CCW, Strength, Resillience, Stature, and Aura BOC, and Furious Charge. Daemon Armor is nice but if you use it you go over you gifts limit. You could even use Terminator Armor (w/o stature of course) to give him one more attack, which will give you 6 wonderful attacks on the charge.

This tends to eat up marines like a fat man and ding dongs, and LR's too. USe BOC when your moving towards the men and when you get to them theres not much left, they can only wound you on 6's, hit on 5's, meh the good stuff!!!!!

Well against Eldar i really don't know too much, i've only played them once.
It's not Raymond Luxury Yacht, It's pronounced throat wobbler mangrove.

I usually go for one of 2 setups:

1) As cheap as possible, but with BOC and many thralls. Usually for small games when I need anti-tank. Sometimes two liutenants. This means 4 BOC shots/turn that hits on 2+.

2) Nasy cc lord. Pretty tooled up and with wind of chaos or gift of chaos. Wind of chaos is generally better, but gift of chaos is so bloody fun.

Bedlam is a waste IMO. Its only usefull against the über-lords of your opponent and for that amount of points you can get master-crafted and spiky bits instead or a dark-blade.

If you like your lords cc heavy takedaemonic flight and wind of chaos. Another useful softening up tool is inferno bolts. These are nasty, like a frag grenade but fired like a bolt pistol.

Don't forget Daemonic Speed too, moving 24" total is nuts for an infantry unit.

D. Speed and D. Flight cannot be combined. check out the codex Q&A. Only one form of movement.

Well, in my opionion twisting path is not worth the pts. But one should be able to make it work against low leadership armies like orks or IG. But dont use it as your main psychic power.

I myself have 2 standard Tzeentch Lords(leuts). The first one consists of:

1 Chaos Leut
Bolt of change
4 thralls
Power weapon, CCW

The other:
1 Chaos Lord
Wind Of chaos
Disc Of Tzeentch
D.aura
D.essence
dark blade, CCW

My leut is used for small games like 1000 pts. But the Lord is extremely good and handy. He can be used for counter attacks, spearhead attacks or just to annoy the enemy.
