An idea popped into my head this morning while I was getting ready to go to work.
I ask this because I have yet to obtain a copy of the Codex. Can an Aspiring Champion be given a mount (say... a horse) and still be attached to a squad? Obviously, the unit would not be able to use a Rhino or Land Raider, but I was wondering if it were possible.
My idea was to have a "mounted" Champion lead each of my squads.
If not.... am I correct in assuming that the "mounted" champion could be counted as a regular aspiring champion and their mount would basically be just for show....
Anybody offer some input???

Please get a codex to know for sure.
I'm sure if the people you play with are reasonable and mature, they'll let you do it for modelling purposes.
It'll look quite cool, please post pics if you do it.

I suggest that you put your mounted champion on a terminator base so it fits naturally alongside the rest of the squad. Rather than using the horse/bike base, that is.
