in Apoc, its says that we should create our own datasheets. i wanted to modify the regular baneblade to be a chaos baneblade. i know the changes would be to have +1 BS and access to the chaos tanks armoury, but what would be a suitable points rise for this? i was in the area of about 50 points but i have been told that would be too much, so whats your opinion?
Ive already put the thing together and it looks awesome with a few spikes and the aquilas cut off!

Well, +1 BS is a bit of a big improvement for a tank that is so heavily armed. As for the armoury access would it maintain access to the IG armoury or just have access to the Chaos one? If it's just the chaos one I would suggest an increase of about 30-35 points. If it maintains the access to the IG armoury I would increase it to 50. Another option you could do, is keep the Baneblade as written, change the armoury access to just chaos, and give it an additional option to increase the ballistic skill by replacing the crew with CSM's for +35 pts. In addition (I dont have my book handy so i cant look it up) but modify daemonic possession so that it has BS 3 instead of reducing it by 1 (dont remember if thats how it works exactly)
Chaso has already acces to the baneblade, it's even mentioned in the apoc rulebook.
If you want to increase it's BS then I don't think you'll come off easy with a meagre 50pts extra, there's a lot of weapon benefitting from it including it's main gun.
