I was thinking, instead of normal guys on bikes, what about i used a 'count as' of a marine on a chaos hound? One hand could be holding the reins which could be something like barbed wire (Chaos isn't known for being nice) and then converting the guys to look like they really are riding the hounds? I play a fast Nurgle army and I think something like that would fit in as they would help emphasize the Nurgle feel instead of bikes, which i don't think really fit the Nurgle theme. Who has time to repair machinery when your barfing all the time?
I'm not sure that the hound models would look good if ridden. I'ld recomend somthing a little more nasty looking; I really like the Nurgle lord's daemonic steed. It should be easy enough to make it into a few diferent poses for variety.
Up, up and away!
what is fast about a little box that is carried by servants?
Thousand Bows (SM)
Why not just make blobs out of green stuff?
Nurgle Plague Riders, or something to that effect. Or maybe take some regular mounts and add things to them (tentacles, extra heads/legs, guts hanging out...). That seems rather Nurgle.
Half Gods are worshiped with Wine and Flowers. Real Gods are worshiped in Blood.
Blood for the Blood God! Beer for the Bronze Keg!
I don't see anything wrong with Nurgle bikes. It's been my customizing philosophy that a little nurgling infestation, or giant fly daemon possession cures all mechanical ills. I imagine most Nurgle vehicles have a moist gurgling sound along with the usual engine noise.
Go for it with customizing what you want, though. Bloated corpse hounds wouldn't be out of place if done well. Admittedly, dragging along intestines will slow anything down, but I'm sure you could come up with something cool if you just keep Papa Nurgle at the forefront.
I think it's a great idea. If you like the look of it, and you can do it. You should do it. And then post pictures.
And then paint them.
And post more pictures.
Indeed. And mighty good they look too
you could use dark elves cold one knights. I always wanted to mount some guys on those things. It would look amazing if you put heavy effort into them.
As for hounds I think it work nicely if you position the rider to look as though he's flowing and moving along with the rest of the body.;Y
