I have a fondness for Nurgle, and bikers, so I wish to model a sort of "Grim reaper" type lord on his bike, it will be black and robey, with hopefully a large slightly glowing scythe. My question is this, what should I use for the Plaugebringer?
Thousand Bows (SM)
i would reccomend using the syth of the mounted nurlge lord for fantasy.
i wasted my whole life on warhammer so it's a good thing i have 2 wounds and a 2+invul
It all depends on your skill level. My first thought was (as always) "a bucketload of GS and a skull" but this might be quite a task if you are not used to sculpting...and if you were I guess you wouldn't ask, so:
How about using a Dark Angel biker, Ravenwing. then swap his head for either a skull from the Chaos vehicle sprue (the best-looking skulls they've made) or that from an Undead Wight, from the WHFB-range.
Then just make that robe look worn and maybe add some extra GS-stripes to make it look etheral enough.
Remember to cut the edges sharp with a scalpel or exacto once it has dried.
Then it's all about the painting.
Theres an old chaos sorceror that I think is both awesome and fairly Nurgley, so I bought one and I'm using it as my Plague Champion.
I jus started looking on gw online stores for a pic, but something tells me it'll be far easier If I took a pic of mine and showed you that. Sorry about being lazy, but I'll see what I can do! If nothing else, flick through the chaos collector's guide next time you're in a gw and you might see what I mean.
Edit: I'm having issues uploading said pix, you'll have to do without for the time being. Sowwies =(
