Hmmm, well since I don't have any specifics about what you have, I'll try to put together a list with what you have and what money you have left - 1,500 points we'll say. Doesn't use the rhino, btw.

So, what to buy - the box of 10 CSMs and the box of 5, should be about $60.

    Sorcerer - 160
Wings, MoN, Nurgle's Rot (good against ISTs)

    5 Terminators - 205
    Powerfist, 4 Combi-plasmas, Reaper Autocannon

    5 Chosen - 145
Icon of Glory, 3 Meltaguns (or 2 Plasmaguns if you prefer), Power Weapon

    8 Plague Marines - 259
AC w/ Powerfist, Icon, 2 Plasmaguns

    8 Plague Marines - 259
    As Above

    10 CSMs - 210
AC w/ Power Weapon, 2 Meltaguns, Icon of Glory

    10 Lesser Daemons - 130

    10 Lesser Daemons - 130

    Total - 1498

As a Veteran Daemonhunter Ill lay it out for you

Chaos are among Daemonhunters worst opponents to go against

most of our special rules are non-existant now with your new codex, and lets face it ---- Grey Knights are among the most under-powered models per cost we have

Easiest way to beat them? Just do what you do best and take some Daemons (Ironically Daemonhunters tend to fail quite badily against them)
    The Inquisition - 38-2-3

    Tomb Kings - 1-1-1

    Grey Company Elves - 16-1-3

Saurons Force of the Black - 8-1-3

It's better to reign in hell than to serve in heaven

As said above, Thousand Sons (as well as their wonderful Aspiring Sorcerer) will do wonders for you when used correctly. I've found that a Slaneesh sorcerer does well also. Lash of Submission can push away units you don't like (like GK Termies) or bring them into rapid fire plasma range. Also, the high initiative and force weapon is a fairly cheap way of taking out the Grand Master that just doesn't want to die. Though keep in mind if he brings the Incense upgrade (or something like that) chances are it'll be a double-edged sword as you'll likely lose your sorcerer as well, though 150 points (give or take) for 250ish isn't a bad trade off.

Theme? Yes, but his list isn't exclusively Death Guard. Also, he asked about what to take in chaos (not necessarily Death Guard ;Y)

Personally I'd say (if you want to stay themey) disregard the 1ksons. They will preform great but will look out of place as well as leave you with future holes to fill.

Since your army seems to lack some ranged attack power (anti-armour anyway) I have three suggestions:

    1) Buy a terminator with a reaper cannon, have two squads of 3 to maximize your AC's potential.
2)A squad of havoks with missile launchers. Spendy but they can kill marines relatively easy and when you run into opponents with vehicles you can squish them
3)LasCannon'ed pred. GK's don't do so great versus anything with a decent AV (iirc)

All of them stay relatively deathguardy and boost combat effectiveness. 1ksons would decimate the GK's but against (lets say a raven wing) some other armies they would just be very spendy marines
