In the Chaos marine army list (the one in the rulebook) it mentions Chaos Sorcerers (thats the guys in the 1K SOns box right?) as having the phychic ability 'Flame of Tzeentch' (Range 48", Strength 9 AP 2, Heavy 1). All I`m asking is does this ability exist? There is no mention of it anywhere in the CSM Codex. It also mentions Sorcerers being upgraded with Disc of Tzeentch for 10 points. Isn`t that ability supposed to cost 30 (not 25 either).
There are 2 versions of the chaos codex, the 5 year old one, and the 1 year old one, they changed all the different abilities etc in there. So if you have the codex with the picture of all the CSMs, you have the correct one.
Mad Props to Angel_of_Rust for the sig.
Well, considering that the Defiler is mentioned in the book its either the one year old one or GW have one hell of a good clairvoyant working for them.
So basically I should only look at whats in the Codex? Thanks.
BTW, how does this thing with the Thousand Sons Sorceror work? Is the guy in their box supposed to be an aspiring champion for a troops/chosen unit or is to be used as a HQ and its just an alternate design for players to use in Sons armies?
thousand sons are special in that their squad champs count as sorcerors and can have psychic abilities, makes up for the fact that the rest of the squad can only have bolters.

"I cast Lvl. 3 Eroticism. You turn into a real beautiful woman."
Your thinking of bolt of change. They may have changed the name. It is an assult 1 krack missile. It is avaliable to any psycer who has access to tzench armory.
No, look at the rulebook. I`m talking about Flame of Tzeentch, not Bolt of Change.
The rulebook army list is completely outdated (meanwhile it has been replaced by the old codex CSM which has been replaced by the new codex CSM), and not valid in any way anymore.
Technically you can rip these pages out of your rulebook, as they have become completely useless.
