ABADDON THE DESPOILER
KHARN THE BETRAYER
LUCIUS THE ETERNAL
personally I like Typus and Ahriman. Typhus is a walking rock with feel no pain and an awsome save. But on the other hand Ahriman is a nasty pychic power shooting manic.
Im inclined to vote for the Chaos Sorcerer, as they are fairly efficient points wise and very useful with their multiple battlefield roles - though, i might add, im not damning any of the special characters - all are powerful, just the points and theme wise they dont fit into my army....
I'm going to have to go with Daemon Princes. First off, I've always preferred unnamed characters, because you can really make them your own, and fit perfectly with an army of your design. And among the three options that fit that criteria, DP's are VERY cheap for what you get, have lots of upgrade possibilities, and, I must say, have a certain draw simply in how differently they play.
...Plus there are some astounding conversion opportunities! : D
I voted for Huron, he's doing very well at the head of my mighty Red Corsairs army. Warptime + Heavy Flamer + Assault makes for lots of dead enemy infantry.
I have a feeling once a day or so passes and more people have time to vote on this one, Daemon Prince is going to sky rocket as the #1 choice, and honestly, I'd probably pick it too if I wasn't doing a Legion specific Special Character.
I voted for the daemon prince. Its my favorite as it strong, tough and most of all it isnt an independant character, this means it can hold objectives and counts as a scoring unit at the end of the game, unlike the other HQ choices.
Go the prince! Either lash or nurgle bomb they have never let me down....
What once was courage has now cursed in the wars we've made.
We are the sinners, before our graves.
Prince, Nurgle bomb is win. and thats the end of that =]
Also like Dan said its a scoring unit at the end of the game.
My homage to my time spent at Libararium Online:
What's a Nurgle-Bomb Prince? Is it Mark of Nurgle, Flight, and Personal Icon for Daemon summoning?
...Oh wait, they can't take Icons anymore. So what DOES a Nurgle-Bomb Prince do then?

I voted the chaos lord because he has a fair amount of options and I like the flavor he adds to the army. He may not be the most efficient choice but I play a more fluffy chaos than anything else.
Probably Daemon Prince. Warptime plus his statline is awesome. I just wish I could find some decent wings for him (I'm doing a sort of 'angel' theme for my army... there's always Lord of Change wings but they're metal and need pinning, and I'm not spending $50US for one wing set).
Huron is good too, being the best of both worlds between Lords and Sorcerors.
I have to admit to the efficiency of the Sorcerors over the Lords (in general), but I like the idea of a Lord better.
For specials, I like Lucius and Kharn for points; the rest seem way too overcosted to me. Then there's Fabulous Pile at the end. Nuff said.
Quoted for being one of my questions. Does he drop in and use Nurgle's Rot all the time or what?
