Hey, I'm play against a friend tonight who will be using the last edition of the chaos codex
I will be playing necrons and its a 2500 games and his list will be...
1 decked out daemon prince (not sure of upgrades)
1 chaos sorcerrer (not sure of upgrades once again
2x10 foot slogging bezerkers
7-8 foot slogging thousand sons
mind that this is the PREVIOUS EDITION OF CHAOS , can anyone explain any major tweaks between the codex updates and any stratagies against this list?
i will be taking...
-veil of darkness
10 scarab swarms
First of all, nice list on your part, looks solid ;Y
You should be in good shape, using normal necron strategies and prioritising targets you should have no problems winning. your opponent is really hurting himself using the old codex.
2000pts Orks 4-2-1
Thanks for the advice(and your compliment on my list :p ), however I am confused at what exactly obiltorators are /equiped with? from the looks of they're models I can see chain fists , power fists , terminator armour , and assault cannons, did thousand sons used to have Ap3 bolters and my last question is can the chaos termi's deep strike like the marne ones can?

Oblits can change their weapons at will - there's a set list of weapons they can choose from - basically has something to use against everything.
No ap 3 bolters on old 1k Sons. Just lots of wounds.
Chaos Terminators have pretty much the same rules as loyalists in relation to deep strike.
Can anyone give me a page number in the old codex where it states that Berzerkers have to charge whatever is closest even vehicles/things they cant hurt. Since I know he will get very angry when his zerkers have to keep charging my monolith every turn and it would turn into a huge argument, as I deffinately know this will happen I would prefer to end it quickly and get on with the game.
It's mentioned in the book of khorne section under bloodrage.
