today i went to my local GW and bought 2 oblits
i opened one up and started to build it
it only had one arm...
i looked inside the other blister, noticed
1) it was the other of the 2 oblit models
2) it only had one arm
anyone know if they only supposed to have 1?
as looked at GW site and doesn;t seem like it...
but 2 models with just the one....
(it's the 'gun' arm they both have, the right one)
and if anyone else has bought them recently, did they get 2 arms?
Obliterators have 2 arms, take em back to store and explain the problem, you still have the receipt right?
aye, i still have it, so i will tomorow,
but it's still mysterious how they both missing same arm...
Things like that happen. At my LGS a guy bought a land raider and it was missing the weapons. Twas weird, but it happens.
"When Blood Speaks, Shadows Answer."
I returned them today, and it was all fine, they didn't even ask for receit, so i got 2 new blisters (with both arms ), however as i'd already built one (except for the arm) they couldn't take it back, and thus i got to keep it.
So, now i have 3 oblits, one with a missing arm (where'd i put the green stuff) and only paid for two of them, yay~
still annoys me that it was two in a row ...
thanks for replys and all, and I think that's everything done
For the blisters, the employee walks over to a couple of huge containers, filled to the
brim with every available part. On the list are the numbers of these parts, and you
simply follow the list until you have all the parts.
As you are also human, you sometimes make a mistake and forget a part to put into
As for the boxsets, these are pressed and packed at the GW 'factory' itself. We all know
how machinerie works sometimes, and not always are the boxes checked for being complete.
So yes, very annoying, and the only thing you can do is go back and get a good blister/box.
I had to too, when my Basilisk was missing... the earthshaker cannon. Doh...
