    old or new daemonettes?

I'm debating whether I should buy up some old style 3rd/4th ed. daemonettes, or ditch my current metal daemonettes and switch to plastic daemonettes (IMO uglier but plastic easier/cheaper to work with). This would be for a daemon 40k army btw. What models do you prefer?

I prefer the old ones to be honest. The new ones look great, but they aren't naked like the old ones. Not being perverted or anything but imo naked demonettes fits slaanesh fluff waaay better than ones with clothing on. I mean come on...its the god of pleasure.....

That, and the fact that GW makes the new ones like they did almost tells me they are continually trying to pull in the more yonger crowd and forgetting about the older mature people who play 40k.

Seconded. The older models look way more evil. And that's a daemon, impure thougts made
    flesh.

I like the older ones. They're just better models. Even if they had clothes, they have much better heads and I like the way the arms and stuff were done better, too. Their only drawback is that they're insanely expensive due to being metal. They really are some of the most nicely done models in the GW range IMHO.

The new models aren't too bad, but I really hate the heads on them. Thats my main problem with them.

The old ones were an absolute bitch to paint.. the new ones look a bit easier..

On the other hand, the old ones were far better posed, and just looked prettier. I get the feeling they went for alien and androgynous with these new ones, which is great, but seriously.. androgynous should still be pretty. They just look like wrinkly old men in corsets..

And what's with the hair.. Why does Chaos always have to equal topknots?

Go the new plastic... Just for its plastic, and Im never 100% happy with what GW brings out. I just have to get the greenstuff out and change it around... Plastic makes that so much easier...

What do I prefer? Hmmm. Lets see now.

OLDER OLDER OLDER OLDER OLDER OLDER

Dont get me wrong, the new plastics are ok. If only they represented a completely different unit type, as the older ones are ludicrously better as daemonettes!

When I first heard about new plastic daemonettes, I was like "freaking awesome!!!".

When I saw the mini's on warseer, I died inside a little.

Also, you should google "garfield minus garfield". Awesome.

Huh, I had the same reaction. Can you guess which poll choice I picked?

Hint: It's the one that's winning.
