Will heralds in chariots have to be converted or is GW making models for them? If they have to be converted, what models do you plan to use for both the herald and the chariot of the different gods?
I've been using Tomb king chariots (lots of skulls + cheap) with Chaos bits from spawn and/or chaos vehicles. For the guys I've just been using tarted up Letters.
Using Gorthor's Chariot from beasts of Chaos combined with some green stuff and chaos spawn bits could also make a good generic chariot and then you could stick your herald model in there.
I don't know. What base size should you use? Nothing in 40k uses a base that long if you were to use the standard WHFB chariot bases. It would probably make the chariot the biggest unit in the game if you did, short of mounting a defiler on a base.
Should you try to fit it on a big round base?
That said, I quite like the Dark Elf chariot, and the cold ones could easily be converted to be flesh hounds. I know Khorne uses juggers, but money is tight, people!
Besides, a flesh hound chariot sounds better to me than a jugger.
I can't say I've seen it all but I live for the things that keep me hollow.
