I just love the new Vindicator so I bought the Apocalypse box with three of them
I'm thinking of including all of them to my Death Guard, but i might save one of them for my loyalists...
Does anyone have experience in playing three Vindcators? Tips are appreciated!
BTW I did read DanJones' tips in the tactica but I want more!

Or it makes it more possible that at least one of them will perform every turn?
Vindicators can be cheap and very killy. 3 of them means that statistically one of them should hit dead on "every turn".
Now this "every turn" is the problem. All 3 of them won't be in range/have LoS every turn. With their medium/short range, their relatively slow speed, and paper armor, Vindis are very vulnerable and juicy targets. They are also very high priority. Chances are that his long-range anti-tank will have downed them before they can be effective.
That isn't to say that they are useless. A cheap Vindicator can really make an opponent sweat if you hide it in terrain and keep him from being able to shoot it. Every turn he will think, "Gah, should I waste resources actively chasing it, or wait until it pops out to take shots at it?" The psychological aspect is not to be overlooked.
Both of Chaos' Ordnance options are like this, honestly. The defiler has added range, but its own host of problems. Neither are bad, but neither are "must-haves" like in an IG list.
As with all army questions, it depends what's in the rest of your army.
I mean, 3 vindicators aren't going to last the entire match.
But they will draw a lot of enemy fire, which you could use to your advantage... depending on what else is in your army.
Also bear in mind, (although this is more for new starters rather than you Ikterus), that you need to determine whether a unit is worth its cost over a series of games rather than base it all one game.
Anything can have a bad game, or roll 1s. Best to base the performace of something over several games.
True Karmoon. It all depends on what you use around them... The potentially huge killfactor combined with a good deal of chaos (pun intended) will make them funn to use I believe...
I plan to use them with at least 3 rhinos and a Landraider for a total of seven vehicles!
I think that the huge threat that the Vindicators represent will draw alot of fire from the rhinos...
The LR will just be fun to include, who knows what it will accomplish?
3 vindies with Daemonic possession are 435 points. Now chances are all will be dead by turn 5, with 1 or 2 dead by turn 3. Used right, you can EASILY get 435 pts out of 3 demolisher shots(and your more likely to get 5+ in a game with 3 vindicators). The key is to really pick their targets early and give them the support to go after said targets. Also, keep in mind that although they get a large blast sometimes hitting an expensive tank is their best shot. With S10 and 2D6(take the highest) penetration basically every tank has reason to fear them.
Nevermore Chapter: 6200 pts; 97/49/11; Longest Streak: 9 Wins/4 Losses; Nearing Completion
You may as well throw in one lash too.
I mean... it'd be rude not to. ^_^
