So skimming through the new codex and reading a few lists. Ive noticed that the chaos gods have numbers. Khorne is 8 and nurgle is 6.
But what are the other two gods numbers. I am thinking that tzeentch is nine, becuase of the nine hundred and ninety nine riddles. And i cant find anything for Slaanesh
From what I remember:
I'm fairly positive that thats the way it was in the old Codex.
i was thinking that it would be something like that. but the problem is that the number 7 is a holy number according to the bible and 6 is the sign of the devil (or daemons if you will)
Yes, but this is a game, so to avoid religious arguments, lets leave the real world connotations out. The sacred numbers come from 3rd edition chaos codex where if you bought the sacred number you would get a aspiring champ for free (i.e. 6 noise marines free champ).
You could also use multiples of the sacred number. So 6, 12 or 18 noise marines got a free champ.
Nevermore Chapter: 6200 pts; 97/49/11; Longest Streak: 9 Wins/4 Losses; Nearing Completion
Actually I think they come from way before the 3.5 chaos dex. In the first CA book it talks about the numbers with marked terminators (because they weren't in the 3rd ed book). I think that the numbers may go as far back as the realms of chaos books (I haven't read them through yet so I don't know).
