Hi, I'm still rather new to 40k, and I have a couple of questions regarding the Blue Scribes and the Pavane of Slaanesh.
1. I read in my Codex the lore part about the Blue Scribes, that there are two of them... Does this mean two mounted on the same base, or two separate miniatures?
2. With the Pavane of Slaanesh... Say you were using The Masque, and she was in a unit of Daemonettes... If she used the Pavane, would the whole unit move with her? If she moves alone, wouldn't that break coherency? What would happen then?
For Fluff reasons, there are two horrors mounted on one base. They act in all ways as a single model with one stat line. They live together, and die together.
The Masque is not an independent character so may not join a unit, so she can not be in a unit of daemonettes. Also, Pavane is a shooting attack that moves the targeted unit, not the Masque.
Oh, wow... I feel stupid. Thanks.
Because regular heralds are Independent Characters and The Masque isn't. I guess GW though she would be too much if she could hide in a unit.
I think a great bumper sticker would be as follows:
Proud parent of a child whose self-confidence is good enough that he doesn't need me advertising his minor scholastic achievements on my carclick me
I find that the Masque is not usually a shooting priority, her power isn't that scary and there are usually far scarier things to shoot at.
But if anyone decides they want to kill her, she's dead. 3++ is good, but not that good
