Right, I have the An'ggrath model. I was wondering, does anyone have any ideas as to how i could make it interchangeable for Skarbrand? Obviously I would pin on the wings. However, does anyone have any suggestions for making tattered ruined wings? And I am NOT Defacing An'ggraths, theyre beautiful.
And what about a second axe? Any ideas?
the image in the codex shows 2 1-handed axes, with one cutting edge. Possible the biggest "easy reperible" are the Black Orks ones from fantasy
for the wings, you could use:
Games Workshop Online Store — Galrauch (1 figure)
Games Workshop Online Store — Dragon Wings
maybe for the second pinch some holes... hope this helps
btw im using a "converted" Be'lakor model for skarbrand

Erm, well I own all of the models listed actually, and will address each in turn =)
Black Orc Axes: These are nowhere near large enough. An'ggraths axe head stands the height of a rhino chassis. The whole axe is three times the height of a marine (two rhinos on top of each other).
Galruach Wings: These would be a good start, but I would have to GS a LOT of tattered remains on to them. I could maybe use them as shrivelled stumps to build on.... I have a Galruach model, I shall see.
Dragon Wings: I just put these on An'ggrath for size. An'ggrath's normal wingspan is 10.5". These are waaaayyy too small.
I have been thinking, perhaps Balrog Wings, as they have a large wing span, then maybe add a large tattered bit hanging down from them.
As to the axe, I am still completely oblivious as to anything the correct size.
