While at work today I had an idea about how to steal objectives in fifth edditon. you could use raptors, terminators, or bikes to get upfield earlyish in the game, through deepstriking, jumping and running, or turbo boosting. Once upfield you use an icon on the squad to summon your big squad of Lesser Deamons. which count as Troops so should be able to hold objectives. Since they can assault out of summoning they get right into where they are safest and most effective, Close combat.
What do my fellow chaos lords think of this idea?

The theory is sound. I think that, in practice, a better way to go about it is to run the lesser daemons over (after they deepstrike) to an abandoned objective rather than have them be part of an assault. I'm experimenting with the same sort of idea with my guard, using Grenadiers and Drop Troops to grant scoring status to my one stormtrooper squad and then sending them to hold neglected markers. Haven't actually had the opportunity yet.
