Is there a set base size for the daemons version of daemon princes? I know the 40k CSM daemon prince comes with a 40mm base but the nurgle one comes with a 60mm base.
The reason I ask is that I'm planning on getting some forgeworld plague ogryns and using them as nurgle daemon princes.
Nurgle Plague Ogryns
would anyone object??
The "Real" base size for Daemon Princes is, as any other model, the base it's supplied with :)
As I heard, though, in some cases (or most cases?), even though the Nurgle Daemon Prince is often represented on a 60mm base, it was only done by the GW staff to build a nice base for it... I think it is shipped with a 40mm base as well :)
So yeah, I wouldn't have any objection whatsoever for you to use these models to represent Nurgle Daemon Princes :)
I got the CSM DP and I'm going to use a 60mm base on it because their DPs are HQ where as ours are Heavy Support and Monstrous creatures and so I don't think the same base that termies use would work for them
KHORNE, when life gives you lemons - Blood for the Blood GOD!!!
60 mm would probably be the appropriate base size. However, if you let your opponent know what's up, you should be fine.
