Being bored at home with a recently broken arm (no one wants to play sports with a cripple...) I began thinking on a new project to do. Then I got the idea of starting up a new chaos marine army, startingwith the chaos strike foce!!!
What would be cooler than deepstriking 3 units of terminators and their lord in one turn?
It's a very cool idea to muse on.
I was wondering if anyone out there had any advice, ideas, experience or opinions they would like to share with me. After all, i'll be hearing replies for the next 6 weeks.
Also, as not having read my friends codex in yonks, are there any ways in making terminators a core troops choice?
Sounds like a fun project. Would this be for Apocalypse or in general?
Maybe you could use the Deathwing rules for your force? Though it's not perfect for fielding Chaos Termies themselves those rules do allow for an all Termie force.
i suppose general games. I saw a friend in the bristol gw and he had an all terminator army with two scout squads with snipers. kicked arse, won by turn 3 with no casualties, including charge from nobs and warboss, who was equiped with a power klaw, along with a nob. the guy had a very cool familiar conversion for his librarian, which was a floating servitor made from the severd head/ hollowed out skull of a tyranid carnifex. lovingly nick-named "bob".
Has any one have advice for weopon options, terminator roles or upgrades for the unit or lord.
All comments would be apperciated.
Unless they're lame.........
