So i bought a couple of noise marine boxes, and realized they only come with 2 noise weapons.
Anyone know a place i can buy just the sonic blasters or have good ideas for conversions?
the gw website has bits packs... you can order, think it was £8 or so for 5 sonics and 1 bm
edit: OMG! i cant find it anywhere on the site.. its just not there anymore....
anyone heard anything about them?

If you can buy the bitz pack from the GW site. I bought them from the us gw site though because the uk site didnt have them a few weeks ago. I guess Im probably the only person that did it in reverse-I bought the bitz first and havent bought the EC box set yet.
This is a recurring problem - the EC box is pretty much useless when it comes to Sonic weapons!!!! Here is a thread with a few different answers -
And this post has pictures of them painted up
Hope this helps!!
hmm the bolter conversion is actually pretty feasible for me, think it would be tournament/pick up game friendly?
you should still be able to order the 5 sonic weapons either through GW or your local shop that carries GW as I just ordered two blisters for a customer just two weeks ago.
the packs are up again! yay!
for £10 now though
was £8 when i ordered last..
hmm, lets see..
cost for a black legion squad of 10 : £18
Cost for Noise-squad of 8 : £20 (box) + bits £10 = £30 friggin' pounds
I'm lucky i'm all grown up and got a job.. now to find the time..
I went with the bolter+guitar string conversion. looks really good and believable. i had lots of people saying nice things about them too. and you can get guitar strings for next to nothing. i'd get just a single string of the largest diameter. thats what i ended up using. and its certainly much cheaper than buying the bitz pack from gw. if you have to have the "official" looking models, get the bitz packs, otherwise, go with your own choice.
