Just as the title says : "How are you guys displaying wings on your Daemon Prince?" Trying to figure out how the hell i'm going to get wings on my price for wysiwyg rulings. Please post suggestions or ideas that you folks have come up with.
hey, can't find the bits section on the Canadian site for the life of me.. but thanks for posting; at least now I know I can go into the GW store and order some. Thanks
I took the old WHFB Dragon (the model is still sold with Malekith and Imrik classic.) I took the wings and put them on the DP, they fit perfectly and are the right size.
If a Million Guardsmen die, that's a statistic. If one marine dies, that's a tragedy.
I'm waiting for the new DP model before I buy it.. I found out one was coming just before I bought the current one so lucky..
Comes with Wings =)
Be nice to your enemies, it will make them madder!
I used Gulivar's wings from the LOTR range. You need to remove the top half of a shoulder that is part of one of the wings but they fit well using a bit of sand & superglue to fill gaps after pinning.
Quorn! - Protein for the Protein God.
I have used Belakor's from fantasy. Looks cool but are a little small but very practical for transporting.
My friend used the Balrog's. On the CSM prince you simply don't put the two skull things on that grow out of his shoulders and the wings fit perfectly in place. Looks awesome but you need a whole box to move it. Best as a centrpiece at home or on the shelf
Everyone is corrupted by Chaos, myself more than others!
sweet stuff guys, more pics would be appreciated!
I put dragon wings on my DP. He has about an 18 inch wingspan, gives him a very intimidating/impressive look on the table.
I drilled holes in the DP's back, and greenstuffed the wings into them. He's still a real bastard to transport around. And it's a pain using him when you go against people who say "I CAN SEE HIS WING, SO THAT MEANS I CAN SHOOT HIM WITHOUT HIM GETTING ANY COVER SAVE" rather than his whole body being behind the building, and just the nifty mod poking out. But whatever, I think he's pretty enough for me to deal with that headache once in a while.
Yes, I did deep-strike your sister...
