Hey. I'm building my CSM army, mainly Zerkers, but wanted to know what my options were with legions if I wanted to go undivided. I want to be able to throw in whatever I want without betraying fluff. So are there other legions I could choose from and use zerkers and other forms of marines and units?
What it all comes down too...can I make an undivided "The Cleaved" army?

There are people who assume that the World Eaters do not employ ranged weaponry. They usually die at great distances.
But seriously, it's your army, your ideas, and after all it Chaos! -- do whatever you want. Nobody will complain.
As for staying true to fluff, GW doesn't, so what does it matter!?
make your own army. I play black legion since I use abaddon but lately I've been using a khorne lord often but one way to get around the canon and fluff (eventhough you don't need to) is to write your own story and create your own geneseed that went renegade.
Cool thanks guys. I won't feel too bad employing Oblits and Chosen with plasma now. The Cleaved it is!
I'd recommend Storm of Iron.
The Iron Warriors basically have a squad dedicated to Khorne. It fits with their combat doctrine perfectly.

Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.
Voor alle nederlanders:
The Dutch Legion
You could just use the Black Legion ideal- warband of several differant cult troops held together by a strong willed leader. The Cleaved wouldnt be an original legion so you can always say that the chapter has turned renegade and differant units are worshipping differant gods.
I'm sure I have seen some of these live... eh uncle? ^^
I've been trying to use Ruin in my Chaos army name for ages. My Word Bearers army is called The Host of Ruin. Led by Judas the Betrayer etc . Really with Chaos you can do whatever you want, and it's taken me ages to realise that.
I love the Storm of Iron idea. I think I'll roll with that. In a similar topic, how can I get some of the unique Iron Warrior heads that I see their squads. Seems like 4/8 have a unique medieval helm.
My army is Heavy on Slaanesh but I will take on other cult marines and justify them with a neat little back story. My army is called "The Carrion" which at the time is a mixing of Nurgle and Slaanesh. I could tell you my back story but you will just have to use your imagination.
