...for I have sinned, I've not touched my Chaos army in 3 months.
...Wait, I'm Chaos? "Shoots the father" Oh well.
So how everyone doing so far? Our new codex came and went. I am posting because right after 5th came out, I had to move and my Chaos army was far to big to move :-( Nevertheless I will be united one day and I want to know whats happen.
So how has 5th changed our metagame? Certain units we use and don't use because of the cause of it? What army is ruling the tourney scene? Is it SM now with all it ridiculous toys? SURPRISE~! *Shakes head* So lemme know, I'd appreciate it. Thanks fellow Chaos players.
There is surely posts about this back further as edition changes get a big look over for every race.
You gave us 6 hours to reply? Lovely to see some bloody patience.
Basic changes to 5th edition? Troops choices are much more useful, meaning that our cult marines (Which are as strong as elites in themselves) have become much more useful.
Rork: In the dark future of the 41st millennium there is only friendship.
Fenrir: and magic.
Kaiser-: My Little Chaos Marine, Friendship is Heresy?
Not to much has changed for Chaos as a whole. Since the SM codex came out, we have to handle them a little different (1k sons popping them ASAP or Plagues going toe to toe with those stupid sternguard/ Or you could always LoS them into a possition where they can't flee). If your fighting necrons, with the changes to glancing hits, making your armor demonicaly possessed helps keep it up a bit longer.
Other than that, still tons of different troop types to capture/hold objectives with.
Yes, I did deep-strike your sister...
