Well...With a bunch of left over bits I have I was able to scrape up a rather cool looking sorcerer on a bike. As cool as I think he looks and will be fun to paint I was wondering what sort of role he might be able to take up. Does any one run a sorcerer on a bike or is it a expensive HQ choice? I run with a three bike suicide tank hunting squad, but am thinking that my sorcerer might be able to cause some first turn Lash of Sub havoc and assault some infantry or something.
Assault a weakling unit with Nurgle Sorcerer and Gift of Chaos and start producing some spawn, with it's toughness he will be a hard nut to crack
Dependant on your force and the points remaining you could give him wind of chaos and maybe warptime too. This will be a deadly combination with the speed of the bike, allowing you to zoom up one flank, zap the squad and reroll to wound them all. then charge in afterwards with your increased toughness.
A nurgle warptime sorcerer would be a good choice too, super tough and super hurty.
this also works well as an assassin unit. With its speed you'll easily be able to bring him into base contact with other independant characters and nuke them with the force weapon (although supporting him might be important)
Never judge someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes...by that time they'll be a mile away, and have no shoes
Is there any chance an assassin unit could take on a badass HQ choice like an Avatar?
A tzeentch sorcerer with warptime might have a chance. It would need a touch of luck though.
I like the idea of a bike sorcerer, I might need to look into this. Thanks.

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.
